You got guys who've had amazing dominating seasons but didnt get a unanimous vote. (I mean damn Wilt avg 50 pts, you would think he would have at least have one unanimous MVP)

It just looks kinda funny with Curry of all players being the 1st, which is true.

The whole unanimous thing is just irrelevant to begin with. Its true you have a bunch of other seasons where guys should have gotten all the votes but didn't

So my thing is that the league isn't watered down or whatever, but for once the voters actually got it right.

This board and its stupidity. :mjcry:
I've never seen such rampant stupidity, and I lived in New York when everyone and their mother swore LeBron was leaving Cleveland because he was dying to play for the Knicks. This board is so insecure about their precious 90's that they want the finals to be a competition between having to see Dan Gilbert or Clay Bennett hold up the trophy.

whats the point of these threads getting upped today?!!:what: yesterday's loss didn't prove any of the bullshyt T-Mac, Oscar, Oakley or any of ya NINETIEsexuals said:stopitslime:

Curry and the Warriors lost to the THUNDER. Westbrook, Durant and the rest of OKC are from the same ERA as Curry. If you trying to shyt on Curry with, you have to give credit to Westbrook who is, again, from the same era. In fact, this loss means the NBA is so competitive now that the 4th seed can beat the team that broke the wining record.

What does T-Mac know about conference finals anyway?:childplease:

When he says watered down I think he is alluding to how the league is more narrative driven and its not as important to maintain a culture of integrity when assessing and awarding players for having superb seasons.

73 wins. Defending Champs. 3 point records. 1st MVP Unanimous vote...That just sounds good. Great Story. Great Marketing. Great Business.

Is he deserving of a unanimous vote? Its debatable. Me personally i think Westbrook deserved some votes but he didnt stand a chance against the feel good Golden State story.

Can't win with these people. These 90's stans are showing themselves to be more illogical and insecure than Kobe stans or patriot "fans". There's only 1-2 teams from the 90's that would not get smoked by a team with the length, depth, shooting, and athleticism at team like Oklahoma City has, yet none of them grasp it. At this point TSC is the only section that doesn't resemble a complete cesspool

I don't think T-Mac is watching the games, people are trying to guard him, its just not working. He's that good. Its like when Barkley was screaming up and down "Guard Jordan!"...right like nikkas haven't been trying...
