Did you read your own post stupid?
^^^This is what I was responding to and you're clearly not just talking about this T-Mac video. I'm telling you why the threads are being upped and why this series with OKC does prove that men like Oscar, Pippen, Oakley, Hubie, Jamal Crawford, Barkley, Nique, Harper, and all the other ex players/coaches who've echoed the "the current game is soft and easier for perimeter players" sentiments have a legit point. You only dismiss it as "bullshyt" because you're the one wth the agenda. It's funny how you modern day basketball cocksuckers like to try and flip that. You people are the one's with the agenda but you try and flip it on those who don't go along with it. We're just laughing that right now it's blowing up in your face. All that "GS is an all time great team Steph is the best" talk was premature and lacking context. "Old heads" tried to put all that shyt in its proper context and clowns like you have dismissed them just like you've done in the posts above.
relax it's not that serious
I brought up Oscar and the others because bunch of similar threads got upped at the same time as this thread. Then I went on to address T-Mac comments in particular because, guess what, this thread is actually about T-Mac comments. I can't keep up with what every ex-player/coach said about Curry or the current state of the NBA, so I just talked about T-Mac video specifically in its own thread.

Even if the point was the Thunder physical defense is the reason why they're beating the Warriors, you're still wrong. It's not that simple. The Thunder is taking the series lead because of the versatility, length and athleticism of the players, effective defensive switching, and lineup and game plan adjustments. One of the main successful adjustment was using the "modern" SMALL lineup. Unexpected offensive contribution from Roberson, Waiter and Adams also helped. So it's not just playing physical against the Warriors as you claim.

to this day the most physical defender Curry faced in this playoffs is this guy

Curry ended up scoring 24 pts (8/13 and 5/7 from 3 pt) in only 20 minutes in that game . It's much easier to play physical/dirty defense than to play smart precise cohesive defense

Not what I said.

Save that WPOY2016 award for that fuccboi who said Draymond was better than Rodman and could guard Kareem

:mjlol:

You are the most ignorant poster on this board I swear.

Not understanding the case for Green over Rodman is straight up retarded, and Green (best post defender in the game today) guarding a well past his prime Kareem with constantly help in form of double teams from his teammates would prevent him from dominating the team in a matchup. There isn't anything crazy about that

Okc beat themselves.

The warriors were beating themselves with lackadaisical defense and a stagnant offense. They fukk around all the time and only start playing seriously when their back is against the wall. It's frustrating for warriors fans. :francis:

I still can't believe this was controversial.:dwillhuh:

There are not as many super stars in today's game as there were 10,15,20,25 years ago. Therefore it makes perfect sense that the first unanimous MVP would come now

They're not playing possum, though, they are playing stupid. Why do you think they lost to so many crap teams? Frankly, when the entire team is playing motivated, they destroy all opponents, especially the elite teams. Look what they did to the clippers because the clippers talked so much shyt. Consider the fact that they were down 3-1 against the Thunder and were losing game 6 until the third quarter when they started playing defense more actively.

They need to start this series properly. They need the entire team engaged on defense. This is a much better cavs team with better ball movement than last year.

For all the heads that say defense has gotten watered down and that zone defense isn't as tough as the more physical defense from the past. Check out this video and see exactly why today's defense is much more difficult to navigate through. Tracy McGrady himself says at 1:40 seconds that he hated playing through zone defense. They have a quote from Michael Jordan himself saying that if he had to play through zone defense he wouldn't have had the same career. Allen Iverson was tight about the NBA allowing zones as well cuz he relied on his speed and handle to get through defenders one on one.
