I really like LIG.

LIG will win here (should had a poll), cuz, as Nas put it, it's for y'all "stuck in the 90s nikkas"

Haven't had a chance to listen to MCHG yet. Reviews seem mixed on here, but there are too many Jay haters and stans to ever take the coli's response seriously.

Almighty Garden State
both in my top 5, but its no comparison

LIG has a fluid, organic sound that flowed from track to track. Magna has moments of brilliance lumped in with some bullshyt

thats just musically, cant rate Hov this early but i kinda doubt his performance could even out Nas' musical advantage

Nas won and Jay won

they made albums that both of their fanbases can look across to the other side and respect and have both found a lane that works for them.

And look, they cool with each other like legit hangout no beef there no competition.

Just enjoy the music and hope Kendrick, Cole, ASAP and them age gracefully like them

Life is Good to me is the perfect example of old guy/aging gracefully type shyt. Jay seems to be stuck in a mid life crisis with his constant poor fitting youthful outfits, and how much he's talking about instagram/hash tags/technology. Post Black Album Jay is the 45 year old that still lines up for jordans and spends his money on 200 dollar screen printed t's. I don't think calling a song Tom Ford , and mentioning every artist from a 100 level art class covers up his mid life crisising. Nas just seems more comfortable with himself musically and outside of it even. Weird 1st post but whatever, been lurking on this for a minute.

Life is Good is a classic now? ...

:whoa:

Got a couple of certified classic status ratings here and there (XXL). Definetly felt like he went back and captured some past eras on a few songs too

At the very least it was one of the 3 best Hip Hop albums of 2012

I'll give it a good album off the strength of Loco-motive. But it had filler and Summer on smash :sadcam:
