i don't like his music but i'm pleased for him..it's absolutely baffling, but pleased for him none the less.

i knew of Cole since i checked out his freestyle over a Dipset joint on 2dopeboyz around he time he put his first mixtape out, before he signed to Jay and i never thought he'd get this big...his music is the equivalent of crackers and a glass of tap water but his connection to his fanbase is stronger than any other of the new gen.

he'd probably be Supastition/Ken Starr status if not for being signed to Jay and Drake needing "competition"

And honestly I still don't, but Forest Hills is definitely his best studio album and to me that still pales into comparison with Kendrick's work but hey if they like it, I love it. So props

the way people felt about early Kanye around the first two albums is the way some people feel about Cole on a smaller scale.
