i don't like his music but i'm pleased for him..it's absolutely baffling, but pleased for him none the less.
i knew of Cole since i checked out his freestyle over a Dipset joint on 2dopeboyz around he time he put his first mixtape out, before he signed to Jay and i never thought he'd get this big...his music is the equivalent of crackers and a glass of tap water but his connection to his fanbase is stronger than any other of the new gen.
he'd probably be Supastition/Ken Starr status if not for being signed to Jay and Drake needing "competition"
*fixed.

It's baffling to me as well. I actually like his music, going back to The Warm Up, but I never thought it was all THAT. And honestly I still don't, but Forest Hills is definitely his best studio album and to me that still pales into comparison with Kendrick's work but hey if they like it, I love it. So props![]()

Just saying, lets not act like he doesn't have the machine behind. Have you seen the promo run they put behind his debut and sophomore album?
They even had Jay Electronica doing Mountain Dew commercials. The machine can make you a household name.
He is OUT that deal... His contract ended last year. He's his own man with his Dreamville imprint with Interscope. So, he's caking right about now.
So no more Roc Nation? They do. Got the teenage and mid 20s women on lockI heard cole concerts be bringing the chicks out![]()
