Y'all gotta get out of that victim shiit. There are plenty of young black men and women who are celebrity photographers/videographers. Quavo has a young black assistant that he pays $5K/day. How did he get that gig?

A friend I went to high school with ended up being Wiz Khalifa's photographer because he met him at SXSW and asked if he could take some photos of him. He later messaged his team and ended up being his photographer on one of his tours. Obviously he had all his photo/video work posted online already.

Put in the work, set yourself up, and pounce on any opportunity you see and see what happens.
again, the majority not on some "I just DM'd them" shyt. It sounds better to say that than "i knew somebody". Because people like you eat it up and it makes for a better story. :mjlol:

And yall love telling black people that "victim mentality" cac shyt.

Only an idiot would believe it was simply just a DM. Obviously more goes into it. But nobody is going to break down the entire process in a 60 second video.

And people like you love telling other black people to accept being at the bottom because there is nothing they can do. You wouldn't dare tell another black person to strive for greatness, because it's easier to tell them otherwise to make yourself feel better because you can't get to where you want.

5k a day is cap. But often with these type of gigs these folks are willing to work for free for a period of time before getting put on and getting compensated. And the initial compensation is normally low as well until you make a name for yourself and they are forced to pay you a decent amount so you dont work for someone else. Everyone doesn't come from a background that allows them to go a year without being paid or underpaid.

this is all i'm saying. But people like to hear the more inspirational version. People even tell their friends the inspirational version to make themselves look better.

You really do just have to ask.

I got a decent camera when I was into photography, took some pics of my ex for her IG profile and I sent those to the best day ever festival while in NY as my “portfolio” and got free tickets for me and my friends to a festival that had Young Thug, Tory Lanez, Metro Boomin, and an unknown Jack Harlow on the billing

okay, that's ONE.
most of these social media "creator" jobs are going to white kids like in the OP.

nice try though.

I know a white dude that bought a camera took a few pictures for his "portfolio" and within a year he was working officially for the Kansas City Royals and later on with the Chiefs...for the longest he told me he just "sent in his portfolio" then one day i over heard him talking to another white person he knew and he finally said "my parents knew somebody". But you know "I just DM'd somebody" sounds a million times more inspirational.
Ok you keep your little brokenhearted white people get all the opportunities cry baby shyt, matter of fact go march with BLM about it

Im telling you real-life stories and just gave you one, but stay on your "waah waah white people" walk while other dudes that look like us are really getting it

All that sad shyt off one dudes IG post :mjlol:
