its an open investigation because the next court day is 10/13 which was set back on July 16th retard. They can close it out on 10/13, or continue hearings. The only thing we know of, is that its been almost 4 weeks since Meg has claimed Tory shot her, during this open investigation and the DA has no upgraded the charges.
And that Tory is still a free person. If the DA upgraded the charges, they could issue an arrest warrant TODAY and lock him up. But they havn't. Because realistically they have no reason to because no gun was fired that night or at the least, no one was shot that night.
Nah they are not just waiting on a court date.

They are probably investigating her claims. And are having a hard time corroborating her story. Like I said before. It’s either one of two things. Either she got shot and the police, hospital, etc SEVERELY dropped the ball and didn’t do their jobs that night. On top of that. She went to the hospital. If she got shot. The hospital MUST report that to the police. Someone dropped the ball somewhere. She was not detained that night. And the LAPD basically admitted they didn't do any test in their official statement where they say it appears she stepped on glass.

Again, open investigation. He’s already been charged via the up front evidence they had. More evidence has been presented, now an “investigation” needs to happen to decide if the charges should be changed or more additional charges should be added.
You don’t arrest someone during and investigation. They gotta have a solid case before any of that.
Obviously lies were told by everyone involved. Police aren’t doctors. And they don’t seem to be direct gunshot wounds whatever they are. If she told them she stepped in glass, there would be no reason for them to think she was lying.
If they showed up and she’s laying there crying saying tori shot her and she’s scared for her life. They arrest him on the spot for assault the “investigation” goes a lot quicker.
