Yes and its not even close. Khawi is the best perimeter defender in the league, shoots 48% from 3 () and knows how to play within an offense. Leonard is a beast. Its not close at all. You dudes need to stop overrating Melo.

Melo is a very noteable scorer but thats where his game ends. i''ve reiterated this on here like a million times. Melo has been playing for arguably the worst team in the nba for 3 years now, most of those stats he has are empty stats anyway.

big diffrerence between just being on the court and getting buckets and being on the court, scoring, and being able to work within the offence effectively which helps your team actually get ahead or better lack of words- you're scoring with a purpose not just trying to stat pile.

Kawhi is 24

one of these SF at the very least contained Lebron in a finals at 22 yrs old

It's almost kinda goofy to compare the two because of the age difference. If I'm starting a team right now I'm taking Kahwi over almost anyone else in the league short of Steph, KD, and maybe Young Sabo.

If we're talking overall career Melo is better. Kawhi doesn't have the sample size of being the primary dude for years like Melo was in Denver and NY. He's been doing it for the past month or so, but we gotta see what goes down in the playoffs again and maybe the next few years. I think folks are forgetting how good Melo was at Denver. He just never really had a shot at beating the lakers or spurs back then. The West was ridiculous back then. It took Dirk to become an act of God to beat both of those squads and get a ship
