There's a good FA crop in 2016(Noah; Horford, Conley), not too mention the Knicks have their pick this year.
Best thing to happen to the Knicks, would be for them to net Jahill Okafor, then sign Horford.

Lj has missed the Playoffs more times than 'Melo has. If 'Melo can win 54 games with the AARP club, go to the WCF with old Billups, what was the worst b-ball player of all time (the old J.R.), with the rest of the team not even knowing what offense is, he can lead Wade and Bosh to more than 2 of 4 ch'ips, not get punked by Kawhi (twice) and his old team, not get punked by players half his size like Lj did in the 2011 finals (Kidd, Terry, Barea), not get swept by the AARP club like Lj did in '07, not disappear in most quarters like Lj did in this season's Finals (click here to read about it), performing like trash in 4 of 5 Finals, even on stacked teams and missing the Playoffs more times than 'Melo (2 years in a row) in a weak East etc. In 2012, Pop wouldn't even put Kawhi on 'Melo.
