exactly. maybe the knicks could have gotten over the hump if they wouldve tried harder to get another star. the same goes for all those teams who simply did not have enough talent to beat the bulls.

now look how stacked the warriors are. how else is else is anyone going to beat them? either join forces or wait until they get flabby

People have different understandings of this thread. We all can agree that most championship teams have 2 or more stars, what Melo is expressing comes off totally different. He's talking about players purposely wanting to join up a form a super team, totally different than what most championship teams have done.

The Warriors play as a team. Obviously Curry helps, but his willingness to play off the ball and other guys willing to play within their defined roles helps tremendously as well.

So players should be discredited for having the option of free agency? As if magic didn't say that he would have stayed in college if the lakers didn't have the first pick? As if somehow it's more impressive that a front office is competent and that somehow reflects on the player :punkcomeon:?
