This is the crowds way of showing appreciation to people that have toiled away for a few years and weren't exactly given shyt on a silver platter. Wyatt's been on the main roster for how long, losing left and right with an incredible character? Naomi showed talent from her NXT days and finally gets recognition, what, 7 years later? First of all these idiots both wanted to complain about the same thing but they couldnt even agree on why they didnt like it.

Alvarez comes off like a huge, pathetic mark by acting confused why people would be chanting it at all. He really sat there and acted like wresting isnt a scripted performance and basically said the "better" wrestler always wins. Clueless.

Meltzer seemed particularly upset with US in Phoenix telling Naomi she deserves it after she won. Both of them basically shyt on her entire career, which did come off as the entire reason for this rant. They're mad that people like Naomi and think she deserves to be champ. The Wyatt point seems shoehorned in to have plausible deniability that the entire thing was a rant shytting on Naomi, but they didnt say anything that made sense about Wyatt either. Both seemed to agree w Cena's promo and claimed that the belt is earned rather than given by WWE, which is obviously complete nonsense.

If nearly the entire roster feels it was necessary to congratulate Naomi on Twitter for winning the championship, many of them literally saying that she deserves it, what does that tell you about the atmosphere backstage and how they feel about the importance of Naomi becoming champion?

I agree the chant is overused and most chants indeed suck ass, but that was a genuine "you deserve it" moment, more so than most of the people who won a championship in the past year.

How the fukk can wrestling fans be wrong in determining who deserves a title in a fake sport? Naomi has waited longer than any woman ever has for that title. Meltzer is autustic as shyt and unable to understand why someone else can feel a connection with her.

But it's gonna get to the point where every wrestler that gets a new title run will get the chant so at the point it's gonna seem like everybody "deserves it" which discredits the point of being a champion.
