I’ll say this, a dude who can afford to make a young woman a housewife is probably operating in circles where someone is raising daughters to be homemakers.
People who are actually well-adjusted and prepared for life in this society aren’t living the individualistic lifestyle; they are in communities of well-adjusted, successful people.
People make threads about well-to-do Black folks, and other communities, they have the lifestyles to produce those types of men and women.
It’s all the regular folk yelling about what they want and deserve when they aren’t traditional themselves and can’t provide what a traditional partner would want in return.
I don't think homemaking has to exist without a woman working. I think its a quality that a wife should have. My wife did it when our kids were little. She doesn't do it as much now because she's so busy but she possessed that quality. She was raised old school though, do women still raise their daughters to have this quality about them?
