I think putting 60 hours a week towards productive work is something people should do. Don't waste your life on TV/video games/social media/drinking and other bullshyt.

But only if the work is meaningful. If you're just doing wage work for some corporate bullshyt, fukk that. Wasting 15 of the most productive years of your life and not even enjoy yourself solely to have money? Is 15 years of your life really worth that?

This is why I’m able to do 60 hours easily I notice a few of my friends like that stuff more than work.

Or you could…ya know…go to fukking college and get a good job. Or work towards a trade. If there’s a community misunderstanding it’s the general inexperience many young people - and especially black people - have about jobs vs careers. This type of advice may sound logical if your idea of work revolves around retail and the service industry. If you’re applying yourself and working towards an actual career, this advice is laughable.

Same with the “everyone needs a side hustle to survive” advice you see. If you’re single making 50k a year (not in LA of NY lol) you don’t need a side hustle. You’re living comfortably working up the ladder in your career. If people need to aspire to something it should be a career, not working 60 hours a week at Burger King and doing DoorDash.

DC, Boston, Miami (wages super low), Seattle, SF, etc.

Y’all nikkas still listening to Kevin Samuelsth:hhh:

Working all them hours not for everyone. Actually, the shyt is dumb. Personally, I’m not spending my whole life working all them hours like that. shyt take away my peace of mind. That’s how nikkas have heart attacks and be stressed the fukk out. My life gotta be easy going. And I will “work” hella hours if I’m working on my business or a project, but that’s a different type of work energy wise. And a lot of times, most the work is in setting the shyt up and getting it rolling, then you more managing shyt. But that’s what I’m saying though, I need that unbalance. Where I might be going hard on something for a few months straight, then having a period where I’m doing a lot of chilling. Like I have to go to DC in a few months to try and start this business. Might have to move up there for like 3-6 months and get my shyt rolling. Then it would be just managing the shyt and random ass issues once it does.

fukk all that 8 hours a day consistent shyt. That type of shyt will drive me crazy. That’s why I had to leave corporate. First off, I was too real for that shyt. And then, that shyt is too robotic and routine. I need to be free, fukk you talking bout. Then, that shyt limits your money making potential if you really know how to get money. That’s really the issue. Most people don’t know how to get money without applying for a job, so they destined to be working 40 hours to survive and more to thrive.

Someone who puts in 60 hours of work and manages their money will get the ball rolling for their business much faster and much more efficiently then someone wanting to start a business and just setting for 40 hour a week money.

you can put the additional money made past 40 hours towards capitol.

Risk are cool and all but the more money you put down the safer

Breh KS didn't even say any of that shyt. OP did his usual thing by posting clickbait with a 2 hour video (with no timestamps) knowing no one is going to fact check.

Kevin Samuels has said this before tho. Maybe this video is clickbait but Kevin Samuels has repeatedly in the past said if you are in your 20s you should be working more than 40 hours.

He said you can literally put in part time at 7/11 while working 40 hours at another job

nikkas think they so bright.

work 60 hours a week, sleep for 56, and have zero time to analyze the world we are actually in. they'd much rather grind out the white mans world under the belief of gaining "Black economic power", but all you did was make the white man's system of advanced feudalism stronger.

grind hard, brehs.

There’s a certain level of narcissism that comes with being a workaholic, thats actually why as employers they can’t get people to work for them anymore. Some people want to actually enjoy life.

It you want to do that then that’s on you, but dont try to set a standard for everybody with that. If you really about that then as men…black men we need to be talking more about community building. nikkas working 80 hours a week and ain’t put 10 mins into uplifting the next man but have the strongest opinion on what’s going on in the community.

We started off in this country working overtime. Why would I still promote that?

Social democracy - Wikipedia

you can own businesses and still be for workers rights and be against exploitation :dead:

Like I said, ya'll Fake Militants LOVE catch phrases and revolutionary romance languages while you put your fist in the air. Name a place where this romantic phrase has been practiced? I'll wait

Funny how that topic seems to get left out when these Coli Fake Militants talk about ending Systematic Racism. They like hashtags and Slogans more

Just like I thought, mental masturbation Militants with no ACTION whatsoever. Literally proved my point within a couple hours :laff::laff::laff:

He definitely reminds me a lot of my pop. My father would work those long hours in his corporate job. It was always a running joke in my fam how he didn’t take off, and he always had tons of pto. I was blessed, though. While he worked long hours, he always was at my extracurricular activities, and made time for my siblings. He gave us a great childhood, and as an adult, I appreciate it more. I didn’t want. I might not have got it when I wanted it, but he always got it.

I work between 45-60 hrs in a week, but I haven’t missed my daughters gymnastics or a parent/teacher conference yet. I’m in her life. If you want something, you’ll make time. I agree with Kevin here. I’ll have the money to build, get her what she wants and needs

You posting links to that shyt now? :scust:

I did that 3 job/80 hour work week before. It wasn't even constructive outside of getting a bit more pocket change to save/invest in.

Anyone that preaches that, simply doesnt respect themselves. At least, not in the long term.

Thats exactly the point.

I'm not even trolling when I say you not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I’m not saying he’s wrong but shyt should be temporary I remember putting myself through school working a warehouse job and doing security while going to school at the same time. Trust me I wouldn’t do that shyt again but I was young enough to do it. If your working 60 hrs it should be temporary and should be looking at job where you can making the same money or more for less time. Only reason you should be consistently working 60 or more is if your trying start your own shyt.

The biggest thing I have taken from Mt time in the coli is that young people have NO clue about the real consequences of life. As an old head I say work smarter not longer. Nobody gives a Fukk if you work 60 hours a week. Educate yourself better. You absolutely can't get your health back. You absolutely can't get time back.
