Each circumstance is different. Examples.

1)Food, Dates, and flowers can be paid for early on in a relationship ( I usually pay for the date anyway). So it's whatever ( weeks-early months in relationship)

2)Stuff like paying for hair, clothing, shopping can happen after two or three months.

3)Bigger things like car, education ( I may make an exception depending on the urgency), phones can be handled after I'm sure we are serious ( 5-6 months).

4) Apartment is when I'm confident we're getting married ( 10-12 months)

I always pay for food and dates. Not even on a simp tip, I'm just uncomfortable with being paid for and I can't stand for a woman to think that she is obligated to pay for me (I've even started arguments because of this). The way I see it, if you let a woman pay for enough stuff, she's gonna hold it against you.

As far as all the other stuff mentioned in the OP, I wouldn't pay for a new phone until we've been together for a year, a vacation after 2 years and the rest isn't being paid for until we're engaged/married.

I gave my ex a £2k loan to pay off her mortgage and I had already accepted that I may never see that money back. Luckily, she came through but I learned that those sort of financial commitments shouldn't be made unless you know you're in for the long run.

Honestly, these days I go for paid working professional women, they tend to not need a man for those things because they can pay for it themselves. Also how loyal can she is and how long have you known this woman matters. Furthermore will she be just as given as you are and can you gage how ambitious she is.
