I am asking what is the real difference between a side chick and a main chick in 2015 and what are the perks? What makes a man want one woman to be a side chick and another the main? Do men understand the need to put the main chick on a pedestal?

Main Chick = Obligations and Expectations
Side Chick = All the benefits of a main, with none of the duty that goes along with it.

I have a side chick right now. She doesn't know she's a side chick or that I have a g/f. Been with my g/f awhile and don't really have sex with her We are more on that business moves shyt. I know she has my back. We are really close friends and travel together talk about stuff invest together etc. We live together. She already told me she wouldn't care if I stepped out so I do but I don't talk to her about it.

I go out in public with side chick. I'm even on tinder. Idgaf. Side chick knows I like her and I do but she also knows I'm not wanting her to be my girl. I don't question her about her shyt but it's obvious to me she's more vested in me than I am in her despite all the no strings bs I can tell she's trying to reel me in. Besides sex, she's not my woman who is classy, smart, giving, kind and very mature emotionally.

I get tested and insist on partners getting tested. I'm very very careful not to bring shyt back to my girl and wear condoms and am aware of incubation periods. I also go on dates on Tinder.

I also tend to do more with my girl when I'm seeing other chicks because that guilt kicks in. Like I had been going heavy with side peice and decided to fly my girl to Florida for a surprise.

I feel like this bad stuff happens because people can't compartmentalize or probably shouldn't be doing the stuff because their relationship doesn't warrant or support it.

I think the side chick is like McDonalds - easy, convenient but not the meal you really want and is only appealing when hungry.

Lately, I have been noticing some very disturbing "side chick" etiquette.
Not just from the side chicks, but also from the men with girlfriends/wives they claim to love and care about.
Men are having unprotected sex, and children with side chicks. Dudes are going out in public with them, and not really trying to hide their connection to these women. They allow these women to disrespect and beef with their "girlfriends" on the innanets, and in the streets. Dudes out here Telling these "side chicks" they love and care for them. Some even get mad when their "side chicks" date other men. Dudes are spending obscene amounts of money on them, and neglecting their "girlfriends" financially or making them beg for things they shouldn't even have to ask for.

Meanwhile, a lot of these men are not consistently "claiming" their girlfriends, and they carry themselves like they are completely single when their girlfriends aren't around, and humiliate them.

Nah because in the end you always go with your main. ALWAYS. She is the idealized woman you want to begin a family with, keep around your folks, raise your kids and care for your home. The main is your best friend with a vagina, the woman you make love to and not fukk. The woman who would come first should all that shyt go down. Duty is ingrained in REAL men, thus when the shyt hits the fan or when the time comes the side chick is expendable, the main is damn near irreplaceable. You have a side thang to unwind or do the shyt that your main doesn't.

I personally never had side chicks...if I was serious I kept it monogamous. But I have had a potential main while talking to other chicks. She thats a two fold mistake...thats on him for not being upfront about that shyt, and that's on you for continuing not knowing the full story. It got crazy because you tried to end it on terms that made him feel like he was being used even if the situation was the reverse. Most nikkas are fukking emotional as hell actually.

If you want a man that isn't selfish, get with a man that isn't selfish. Problem is people want to have their cake and eat it too (absolutely hate that saying but it fits). Every guy can't have a side and main. It's a small sample of the male population that would be in position to have this. Plenty of other guys are willing and able to be monogamous and they are either in happy relationships with good girls, alone because so called good girls weren't interested, or chasing some tramp.
