I mean, I like the new Merc but they have pretty much got all they are going to get out of that little engine. 355hp is very impressive for that size engine but I don't see anyone tuning it to do much more. Me personally, I think I would want the little wagon so I can have more room to put stuff in the back.

I honestly can't say why I care for power so much.
It would be rare that I use it, but when I do it would be....
I mean, the occasions are silly, too. Like racing someone to work on i95...or from the club on a Saturday evening.
I guess, I dream of having a sleeper whip. One that looks tame / average, but when you mash the pedal down it has the potential to eat a Vett. Just to catch someone slipping in their AMG / M# / S# car would be priceless. shyt, even catching a Vett slipping would have me and probably the Vett driver like
. Thas why I want that 5.0 mustanggggggggg.
That thing has so much potential!! A few mods and you'll eat all those snotty nosed 335i's up!
Problem is, the new one is coming out soon, and the body style change has me curious.
This shyt is so beautiful. Just like my z i knew immediately it will be my next car. As soon as i need a back seat....its on.
tbh you buy this car to front with that you was able to buy a merc brand new off the floor but in reality you can get a 2015 300 C with more luxury

Stop comparing them. The 300c is an ugly boxy piece of shyt visually and nobody who wants one would logically want the other.tbh you buy this car to front with that you was able to buy a merc brand new off the floor but in reality you can get a 2015 300 C with more luxury

I'd take a Chrysler 300 SRT8 over a CLA any day.

exactly, because you think the CLA is garbage. But people who DO like the CLA wouldn't touch a 300 with a stickI'd take a Chrysler 300 SRT8 over a CLA any day.
they aren't similar whatsoever...astetically they're night and day. One is a big boxy american car. The other is a smooth wavy german car. One emphasizes on power and size. the other on lines and luxury.
They shouldn't be compared in the first place.
To me, the 300 is just a straight up ugly car. I would never buy it. I love the challenger, like the charger...the 300 is just trash to me. And I used to own a chrysler so miss me with the 'don't like american cars' stuff.
You can clown and say the CLA is a baby benz or whatever, I don't really care. Its the exact size and scope of car I will likely need in the next few years when I consider having a kid and need a back seat. In a perfect world I'd like a CLS550 or CL63 but the CLA is likely next for me.

I'll admit it makes sense when you say fans of the CLA wouldn't look at a SRT8 300 or 300 at all for that matter. the 300 is a man's car as opposed to the lower class Benz's main fan-base being female.
and although the 300 focuses on mainly Raw power and a "big bad American muscle car" image. the luxury is still there. I wouldn't compare it to the likes of the higher end Mercedes' (S-Class, CL, AMG, etc...)
but comparing the luxuries of a CLA to a 300, I think is around the same level playing field. (I'm speaking purely on the 2011+ years)
