Method Man has never spit a flow that didn't ride the track perfectly!

Meth said that Redman got him on the first Blackout but that he ate him alive on the 2nd

method was on a tear from his album of the year, in 421 to blackout ii.
glad he did and it is good to hear him have quality bars, consistently again.
i think in the little time of the sales spike era.
he was just put off by all the sellout shyt, and just was there.
as meth is still one of the realest bboy that lived, too.

lots of youngins forget that meth was concidered KONY by alot of ppl in the 90s ... hell the only rapper to feature on biggies first album that should say something.. something happened though after 2001-2002 he just dissapeared on alot of ppls radars..
He plays the background too much to stay on people's minds. After Biggie died the crown was his for the taking, but Jay took it instead because he was super active. He dropped an album every year for almost a decade...Meth has 4 solo albums in 20 years, and hasn't had one in EIGHT YEARS.

big, rapped up to meth on that record.
as big had no real consistently vocal tonality record to record, bar to bar, in that era.
whereas meth, was already a fully skill solidified entity, way before that.

i would say my favorite meth feature, after the styles era is:

jayz would have played/rapped up to competition and styles/skills morphed on method, if they featured together.
in jayz's best years from 95 to just before bpii.
jayz always rapped up to his comp, or bested his comp.
on rd, with jaz and sauce jay did it.
on the sauce money feature pregame he did, etc.

now, i don't know if he could do it.
as personally i think he finds people to ghostwrite for him, on the low, now.
as none of jayz's verses sound like the jayz.
who was the jayz who made his draw larger, to be jayz.

nah..Jaz crushed jay on every track I heard with both of them...Jay just shadows the style...it's like watching somebody imitate Ip Man's moves after studying his films...

jaz did not get jay on RD.
he owned jay every other time they spit together.
that bobby diniero verse was that deal.
to bad, that ho nikka jay jettisoned all his real nikkaz like jaz from around him.
to the point, his skill regressed.
as, jay can't piggy back off of their flows and styles morph bite off of them., any longer.

I wouldn't go that far. Notorious Big at the very least is in the convo.

big's flow would not be a relevent fact based point.
in the discussion of flow, incomprison to method man.
as big did not solidly have his flow and vocal tonality skillwise till the junior mafia record.
big did not get his flow exactly on point in the RTD movement.
till, the unbelieveable recording which was the last record made on RTD, too.

meth was already solidified in his skillbase as a major label talent for three years by then.
if you count the recording cycle of protect ya neck to the time RTD, dropped in 1994.

when, meth debuted on protect ya neck, he immediately took the world by storm.
in that same time frame, big was loud and offkey.
dreams was nuffin more than a white label with little to no traction.
outside of really dedicated listeners, and dj's like jp chill on whpk.
which at the time, was not better than ultramag and tim dog's, porno star.
plus, he was on the 411 remix album and was nowhere near respected as an emcee like meth.
nor, was his skill's base and draw actualized at that point, either.

it is a reason why jay went last on that.
back then, you went last if you had the most fiyah verse, on a posse cut.
this was before the posse cut was changed to the feature.
to protect wack nikkaz from being exposed and jettisoned.
