So Metro Booming is from St Louis and made an album dedicated to music from the city that inspired him when he was young?

I guess it's a cool way to pay homage to the city you put on for and that put on for you, but with that being said. This was a fun 1 listen album to skim through.

My Pops Forever RIP
This album pisses me off. Not because it’s ass (half this album i can completely do without, but that’s not my point). Atlanta at least will love this. If you grew up around this time, you’ll appreciate it. Between this and GNX, I can appreciate certain regions saying let’s make a record we’ll enjoy if nothing else. My region simply can’t pull this off because that era was a dark time. There’s a 15 year era of NY music that I don’t wanna go back and reminisce even on some let’s be goofy shyt.

haha i was going to say that every region needs to do an album like this. pure nostalgia in my veins, i aint stopped smiling since i started listening to it. This aint even the best sound Atlanta came out with, not even close, but i had too much fun running around the city with these type of records on the radio..

Now all i need is Philly to put the guns down and do something similar :mjcry:

ATL paid.. Cali blazed
Damn man this was a great time. I was getting off reggie and stepping into the kush and drank days. Use to be able to go to CVS and get a 8 of HiTec on my home girl insurance for $20. Get on the Marta to pull bytches and get a fit and hit up Primetime or Club Obsessions later that night. Lil Metro phone and some game is all you needed back then and if u had sum to burn could fukk around and have a threesome. Atlanta was so much fun during this time. But outside of the club I was not bumping this shyt. Gucci was getting played constantly though.

ATL…overly
Wild Travis Porter on a track with Quavo and the running joke used to be Migos killed their career
:russ:

Metro should do a Crunk Album with Crime Mob, 21, Scrappy, DJ Paul, Future

I mean if we gonna keep it all the way real Travis Porter killed their own career :yeshrug:

They had one lane and that was as party rappers. Migos came up at the tail end of that era but was more versatile, more street. They could do everything TP could, TP didn’t have that same versatility and their sound got dated
