I mean if we gonna keep it all the way real Travis Porter killed their own career :yeshrug:

They had one lane and that was as party rappers. Migos came up at the tail end of that era but was more versatile, more street. They could do everything TP could, TP didn’t have that same versatility and their sound got dated

Nah signing to Jive is what messed up Travis Porter. They had hits like Make It Rain, Bring It Back & Ayy Ladies but Jive pushed the album back a year and a half.

Minus the stuff that’s very light, there’s honesty some heat on here. Young Dro is clearly the star and I’d welcome more new music from him. “I Like That” is a major standout for me. I knew that would be the case before the beat even dropped.

This sound was never my vibe but hearing some of these songs and how light/fun they are makes me want to peep even if I know some stuff im not gonna care for. Feels refreshing.
