Exactly.

People really think Michael Irvin and the Blades brothers developed swag and confidence after learning shyt at Miami??

Them mufukkas was a hundred trillion out the gate. And so was everyone else on those teams.
Hey we could go back and forth on this all day I guess. You could have your swagged out Lane Kiffin types - I'll take the corny Belichick, Meyer and Saban types to turn around my program :manny:

Or you could have arrogant GOATS like Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer.

Just saw on the tv ticker on ESPN that Butch Davis has said he's love to be considered for the job.

:lupe::lupe::lupe:

rumor has it that Miami's school president had a sit down meeting with him :lupe:

Butch has a lot of fans on the board of trustees, but an equal amount want nothing to do with him because of the way he left for the NFL 15 years ago (yet ironically want Cristobal who ditched us in a month for Alabama) and his UNC scandal (of which the NCAA cleared him)

the outpouring of support for Butch is really loud among the fanbase- they won't be able to just ignore it unless they for sure can grab a top-flight candidate

Been reading quite a bit lately about the Canes needing a new stadium.

They're going to have to address this sooner or later.
Although given the Miami Marlins stadium disaster, it's hard to think anything involving tax payers will get much consideration.
Miami politicians screwed the city. Now we're stuck with a beautiful stadium that nobody attends because the Marlins jackass owner doesn't wanna invest into that franchise

We could've poured some money into that joint stadium with Beckham too :snoop: would've been great to have a stadium that has 40-50,000 seats, no more people would be able to use the "Miami cant fill their stadium" line to recruits

but of course Shalala managed to fukk it up as usual

Butch would get our recruitment back to where it was but I don't know if he could put a great staff together

A lot of people don't want to risk their careers by associating with him. Ain't like he ever won shyt at North Carolina with all that talent he recruited
but he was in north carolina:yeshrug:

I see ppl already forgot about the job Mario Cristobal did at FIU. I would like to see him get a look from them.

Wouldn't mind Butch Davis coming back either.

Mario's record was terrible at FIU. That would be a terrible hire.
