To cast fox as tubbs. Was easily a slap in the face to the demographic that made miami vice a draw. Which was black women.

to reveal the origin and backstory of murdock.
was masterful and overlooked. All because it was a reboot of a tv series to film Ip.
A team is one of the very few from that era.
that is a good tv to film conversion. As well as updated with higher content and reveal.
than given credit for.
The problem with a team reviews. Is the reviewers who were given pr wrongly. Have/had no idea.
how to review films within genre.
Creating disconnect in the reviews of a team.
The reveal of murdock is masterful. For the type of film genre, it is. That murdoch as a kid. Everyone all wrote off. Yet in this film mudoch is one of the best characters in the entire history of the ip.. that makes you completely eval. What character you played as a shawty. During existenstial play as a kid. When everyone probably wanted to be ba, or c3/c4 corvette ridin face..

Michael Mann's Miami Vice came out in like 2006 and it wasn't a very good film. I like Michael Mann films like Heat, The Insider, etc. but that one had zero replay value. Even back then it was obvious they should have kept Miami Vice to the 80s.
And 20 years later they wanna try this Miami Vice formula again? They are soo out of touch with reality.
2007 was probably one of the last great years in American cinema. With crazy good movies like There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men, Zodiac, etc.
After that year it was the start of comic book film spam, worthless movie franchise reboots and other shyt that continues up to this day....with some great movies showing up once in a while but not as often as it used to.
