I don’t need to. Dre’s biggest ain’t better than Teddy’s imo. Especially when u consider that Teddy DOES put in more production work than Dre. And this ain’t an opinion. He’s just the more talented musician. Next thing u know u gonna be telling me Dre is better than Babyface. Or Quincy Jones. Or Stevie Wonder. Lol

MJ would have had some type of deal with Dre to make sure he would have got paid. MJ was high on artist getting they due and credit, especially black artists.

Dre didn't have the foresight to see it. Dre still good regardless but that would have been crazy. There's just no way that wouldn't have given him a major crazy look at that time. Probably them 6 beats get Dre any and everything he want as far as his own label being that white execs was vultures they would have been groupies strictly off the fact MJ worked with him and would have been trying to shark his sound for their artists cause MJ used him. Teddy was already getting work but got even more crazy work off the MJ music.

DRE IS LITERALLY THE QUINCY JONES OF HIP-HOP....AND LMFAO@TEDDY DOIN MORE THAN DRE.......TEDDY DONT SIT ON A TRACK FOR WEEKS, FROM INCEPTION TO COMPLETION THE WAY DRE DO. YOU ARE DELUSIONAL. I REMEMBER FROM THE SCOTT STORCH VS MANNIE FRESH BATTLE THREAD, YOU DISRESPECTED DRE IN THERE TOO.

LIKE I SAID, IF I NAMED 10 DRE HITS FROM 86-94, IT WOULD SHIIT ON THE LIST U POSTED.

ARE U A CAC? ONE OF THOSE PRETENTIOUS MUFUCCAZ WHO THINKS HIP-HOP IS A LOWER LEVEL ART FORM THAN "REAL MUSIC"?? FUCC OUTA HERE WIT THIS NONSENSE BRODIE.

AGREED.....

DRE IS ALREADY THE GOAT.

THIS WOULD HAVE ELEVATED HIM TO AN EVEN HIGHER LEVEL....CANT EVEN IMAGINE WHAT THAT WOULD BE, BUT THE FACT THAT HE TURNED DOWN MJ TWICE SHOULD TELL U HOW CONFIDENT HE WAS IN HIMSELF. THIS IS THE SAME DUDE WHO WALKED AWAY FROM DEATH ROW WITH NOTHING AND BUILT A BRAND NEW POWERHOUSE LABEL FROM SCRATCH- HE DID THAT TWICE ACTUALLY. HIS WIZARDRY BEHIND THE BOARDS IS IMPECCABLE, AND ANY1 WHO DOESNT SEE IT IS A TOTAL CASUAL.

Good story, Michael wasn't playing. Said 6 beats with no publishing and I'll clear it lol.

At least Dre wouldn't have had to pay any money but Dre decided against that which is smart as well.

I don't even think it was confidence, Dre probably was thinking the money was funny with ruthless and now this cat want 6 beats and I get no publishing? Hell nah I got bills to pay. Then later on, when Dre way more comfortable and financially set, he probably just was used to his workflow, MJ was a perfectionist and real critical and precise in the studio and probably the only person with enough clout to get at Dre like nah that ain't it and you taking too long with it. Dre was like nah I'll just deal with my artists and work at my pace. Still think it would have been a hell of a feather in his cap.

Overall that whole scenario is ill, like MJ even coming to Dre like that is funny. For me to clear a sample I need 6 beats no publishing :mjlol:
