All of sudden, the GOAT's opinion doesn't matter :heh:

Yall was in that Stan Van Gundy thread yesterday though :comeon:

I guess a flabby, 5"7 white man knows more about the game then the nikka who revolutionized it :krs:

Let's be reality, Bill Russell isn't in Hakeem's stratosphere in terms of skill. Dude was winning rings with arguably the greatest supporting cast ever assembled and there was only 8 teams in the league. Wilt dropped 50 on his head 7 times. But who cares about context, when it's just so much easier to say 11 > (insert number here).

id give more credit to Red Auerbach than the supporting cast actually:manny:

the system he put in place >>>

but he did have players around him that played the system very very well...

Bill Russell was a DOMINANT athlete in his time tho, dont get it twisted

Jordan trying to save face. He knows the world knows Bean is the bootleg MJ and can never touch His Airness so MJ is pushing Bean > Bron so he stays the undisputed GOAT. He don't want them LeBron comparisons because then it's clear as day who's better.

Oh yeah, and plus... :mjpls:

:umad:
OR...

maybe he actually thinks Kobe is better. LOL @ all the armchair psychologists that frequent The Coli.

When asked by NBA TV's Ahmad Rashad about which of the two, Kobe or LeBron, has had the better career to this point, His Airness wasted little time in showering Bryant with championship-fueled praise (via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel):

If you had to pick between the two, that would be a tough choice, but five beats one every time I look at it.

And not that he [James] won't get five. He may get more than that, but five is bigger than one.

kobe has a better a career to this point

I Dont Think You Guys Get The Basis For The Ring Argument

Im Not Even Saying I Agree With It, But Its Clear When Talking Rings The Best Get Compared To The Best

Why Are Robert Horry And Luke Walton Getting Put Into The Picture?

Theres Probably Spurs Ball Boys Walking Around With More Rings Then LeBron, That's Not The Point Though

Oh they get it. They just caught feelings.
