Wade is a liability defensively, and MJ is a better defender than Kobe overall. If we're talking 2 on 2 MJ and Pippen are probably the 2 of the greatest perimeter defenders. Pippen and MJ would kill Wade especially.

I respect Kobe no doubt, and it's not a knock on Kobe at all, but seriously because of MJ's stronger body and bigger hands, he was a great defender. Don't know how old you are but MJ was a beast especially in the 80s. You're talking about a guy who averaged over 35 ppg while getting over 250 steals and over 130 blocks, playing all 82 games averaging 40 minutes a game. Led the league in steals 3 times while getting scoring titles. MJ was a top defender. What many see are the 90s MJ whose main responsibility was to score, but he was a beast defender.

Honestly though Wade would be the weak link amongst the 4, MJ and Pippen could literally interchangeably guard either Kobe/Wade, but either would abuse Wade all day.

For 3 of those titles Kobe had Shaq, one of the most if not the most dominant centers ever. Bron ain't never played with anybody even close to that dominant. I mean he briefly played with Shaq but it was Shaq.

I KNOW PIPPEN WAS GREAT, I JUST THINK WADE IS SLIGHTLY BETTER OVERALL. HIM AND KOBE IN THE BACKCOURT WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE.
