He was frequently injured in NC. I thought he was damaged goods when he got to San Fran but they were more patient with how they use him.

If Im wrong, so be it. NFL teams practice loa; management too.
They have not been patient with him. Kyle Shanahan overuses him to a hilarious degree. Every Niner fan and beat reporter jokes about how Shanahan can't draw up a play without CMC in mind, run or pass. He runs the ball way more than he should (specially now that he's back from a huge injury last year) and he's always involved in the passing game. He's not a good example of load management at all.

IS IT SIMPLY BECAUSE ITS MJ?

Same old childish posting after attempting to make the absence of a question mean an absence of NBA front offices not being responsible for load management. Legbt. Plain childish

Overuse injures.

Brehs like Bron and MJ grew up playing multiple sports.

These young bois nowadays go from rec league to AAU to middle school/high school teams etc. No football, track, baseball, wrestling....you gotta train different muscles. These dudes get to the NBA with crazy mileage on their bodies.

I don't know breh. Bron was FIRMLY in the AAU era. In fact, AAU was probably alot more serious at that time, than it is now.

I don’t believe for a second that Michael Jordan gave a shyt about playing 82 games for the fans. It sounds good. I just don’t believe it.
I absolutely believe he did it for the fans.....to see how great he was and feed his ego.

But was it so some kid could dream to be "like Mike". Doubt it.

To be fair, years from now we may look back and find load management to be a last generation problem (Kawhi, Embiid, Davis). I’m legit tired of them/their coverage, because there’s so many stars before and after that were/are reliable.

Last year for example: Ant, Shai, Tatum, Jokic, KAT, Haliburton, Siakam, Booker, Sengun, Cade, Donovan, Mobley, Garland, Trae, BAM, Herro, Reaves, LaVine, Jackson Jr, etc all played between 70-79 games. That’s 85% of the season or better.

Once you look past the specific moments of LeBron/Curry/KD, I don’t know how fondly we’ll look back at the mid/late-2010s and Covid years.

"It’s at this point that the federal indictment zeroes in on this specific game, noting that prior to the game an individual identified as ā€œCo-Conspirator 8ā€ told one of the defendants, Eric Earnest, that ā€œthe Trail Blazers were going to be tanking (i.e. intentionally losing) to increase their odds of getting a better draft pick in the upcoming NBA draft.ā€

Co-Conspirator 8 informed Earnest, prior to the news becoming public, that several of the Blazers’ best players would not be playing. According to the indictment, Earnest gave the inside information to Marves Fairley, another defendant, for the purposes of betting on the game. Fairley promised to pay Earnest at least $5,000 if the bets paid off.

I have no clue why they got dudes referring Lebron to this. Yall do realize LeBron has the most minutes played in NBA history and also the second most games played in league history only behind Robert Parish
Most of the users here are cognitively declining and just ramble. Bron didn't start missing significant amount of games until his Laker stint...16 seasons in. Up until then, he wa splaying at least 90% of the season.

But these guys bring LeBron into every discssion despite swearing his fans are the ones who keep talking about him. Miserable, old fakkits.
