I remember watching VHS tapes as a kid and Mike was talking about how important it was for him to play every game because he understood that that might be a kid one chance to see him play live.
Right, these dudes literally just making up shyt takes for daps and likes is sick.

This really needed to be a topic to discuss again? I can’t imagine this is what the NBA had in mind when MJ was brought on to do cut up interviews on NBC.

Another ā€œback in my day we didn’t load manage like the guys these daysā€ topic…..ā€now let’s get ready for Clippers vs. Warriors!ā€

Sure.
It can.
I don't believe it was.
It easier for players to make the claim in retrospect.

Also, we can't blame the players for utilizing a system that's in place.

If LM was around in the 80's/90's, you are deluding yourself if you believe that players like Barkley and Ewing wouldn't be taking games off......even though they are so quick to act all high and mighty about it.

Yeah this intergenerational sniping is for the birds to me at this point. I really hope millennials fix this foolishness. The shyt was lame when they did it to us and it's even lamer that they're doing it to Gen Z.

This nikka load managed 2 whole seasons. He serving up that fake ā€œcompetitior killer instinctā€ bullshyt that only his stans will eat up.

We don’t believe you.

But you didn't buy a ticket thinking he was in the starting lineup. Big difference.

When he was on the roster, if he was able to play he played. 82 games he played 9 times, and played over 78 games 3 times.

When my goat speaks, I listen.

No one is built like Mike anymore. He actually cared about the fans who paid hard earned money to come watch him play. Today’s players do not give a damn about the father who had to bust his ass for a ticket to take his son to the game.

Republicans buy sneakers too.

I feared this would just be more intergenerational sniping.

There's 100 things you can ask Jordan and "load management" is at the bottom of the list.

Right...this seems like such a waste of a Jordan interview. I thought he would come in throughout the season and give his insights on big games and in game situations and how he approached them, and how he believes certain players approach them now.

But this is just lazy. 1 long interview broken into smaller pieces trying to get engagement where it's basically "old man saying old man things". This is the first misstep NBC has taken in their coverage thus far.
