It sucks that Kawhi and the Clippers are implementing these "load management" procedures, but the reality is his lower leg issues are probably a lot more serious than they've let on. He looked noticeably slowed at times in the playoffs last year and that was AFTER missing 22 games in the regular season. I don't have any issue with guys taking occasional games off, especially as they get older. It's just unfortunate that one of the league's biggest talents routinely misses 20 games a season in his prime due to injuries/health issues.

Norfeast groovin…
Waiting for Kobe to say something. He’s kinda having a second life as this “NBA guru” ass nikka so he’ll prob go easy on someone of Kawhi’s status.

Kobe has him at that invite only camp this summer. Kawhi still his second son, he just gon be a lowly clipper for the rest of his days.

One of MJ's most impressive accomplishments to me was that he played all 82 games that last season with the Wizards at age 42
and he we would have played all 82 the previous season if he didn't get hurt

Played all 82 games and the most minutes of his career in his final season with the Bulls. GOAT

Nah the real reason to shorten the regular season is because the 82-game deck is now antiquated and NBA fan support has long lacked in the regular season...
I mean, I don't think the average person has ever watched 82 games. You cut it to 62 games you'll still have people complaining that the season is too long and they won't watch until the playoffs.

You should be obligated to play all 82 if you are honestly physically up to it.
Who determines if a player is physically up to it?

Rose was out here playing through a fukked up toe, that led to an ankle issue then like some hamstring shyt, and eventually tore his ACL.
