I like Zach Lowe, but I was listening to him talk about the Players Awards on his podcast and he was talking about the award "Guy You'd Most Like To Have On Your Team." The candidates were the elite guys, Curry, Lebron etc. And he said 'I think the players got this one wrong, when I think of guys players want on their team, I think of guys like Mike Dunleavy, Draymond Green, guys that are annoying to the other team.'
So basically, he was saying that he thinks the players were wrong about what guy they would like to have on their team...like who the hell are you, a short basketball nerd who doesn't play, to tell them who they should want on their team? Like I said I like the guy but it seems like these cac journalists feel threatened by the Players Awards because it recognizes that their opinions aren't important like they think they are.
I see people in here saying these journalists have an inflated sense of self-worth when it comes to their role and I would have to agree. These guys think their opinions should be the only ones that matter because the truth is they don't have much else to offer.
