There is no way Microsoft is abandoning Xbox one anytime soon that's there bread and butter. They'll end up in a Sega situation if that were to happen. I'll put money on that the scorpio will probably not even sell as much as the xbox one in lifetime sales. Especially if there selling this at a premium price and you have plenty of options to play games that release on it.

What I'm talking about is if Scorpio is its own entity with its own library. If it's like the PS4 Pro where it's just a graphical enhancement and really nothing else than most people will see no reason to buy it. One S will be dirt cheap by then and packed with something like Forza. That Scorpio won't make much of a dent

Only thing that will be apart of the Scorpio library is VR titles which you'll be able to play on PC, PS4, and PS4 pro. Microsoft Exclusives can be played on PC and Phil Spencer already said that Scorpio and Xbox one will share the same games going forward unless there VR.
