I think Microsoft new goal is to just provide a console that plays the best verison of muliplats with the scorpio. fukk exclusives and japanese ip's. Only thing to expect is Gears, Halo, and Forza, and maybe another few incentives that will be on PC.

we did that with 360...they weren't gonna beat ps4 regardless even if they hadnt fukked up the initial xb1 reveal with that stupid dsrm shyt or whatever the fukk it was called that had nikkas pissed and that game share shyt....xbox just puts some people off for some reason even if u swapped all the exclusives from each system ps4 still would do better

@Grand Conde conde acts like music isn't largely subjective and people listen to music for different reasons and its very rarely to be educated by a 8th grade drop like Nas Stans (but I digress)

You can't compare music to video games because as you said the hype is usually very real

I think the goal remains the same. Create a device that becomes the center of your home media experience. Group that with Cortana and other features the goals seems to be to get as much data as you can into their cloud and AI services. The goal appears to be to build their cloud platform from multiple angles with a lot of integration across each.
