I help when I can, I'm not rich myself. I'm doing well enough to live decent.

And the amount of electronics made now has nothing to do with quality of life.

Poverty level in the US is high as hell man.

on the real...
vanity items like electronics are not indicative of quality of life.
especially compared to back then...
as back then,..there were more diversified interest and things to spend your money on.

now, everything is electronics..
back then,....
you had a :

atari
coleco
nes
snes

yet, you had hordes of toys and consistently better media to occupy your time.
now,..
in general,...all you really get is a piece of electronics.
then, you don't have any interest in anything else.

when we were shawties,...
we had an alternative.......
on top of the fact,...we never in general had the vanity items that everyone has now.

back then,.....
as a black person....
you never had a beta player, cd player, or a laserdisc.

later on,..you got a vhs.
all you had was at most a tape deck, black and white tv, a record player, and a transistor radio.
yet, to make up the difference...
there were hordes of interst and activities to absorb your time.
plus, higher quality programming.
now, all you need and all anyone in general wants is cable, cellie, tablet/computer.

so, you only have to spend two to three times to be satiated.
back in the day,....
you had to continually spend more, acquire more and did more.

it is completely different, from back in the day.

the only thing that is the same is,...
the punk ass telecom industry has re-established multiple avenues of over priced price gouging businesses.
where the pricing is weighted like we still have separate long distance.
all neatly packed into price gouging services...
that are exponentially priced higher than what they should be.

it is no mystery.
why all the talent in rap in that time.
to even now...
all were primarily gangsta rap groups.
all built off the idealogy of the ice cube dead homies style track being on every record.
on top of the pr purposeful attack of people who offered duality like krs.

it became the guy who said,..

where I am from,..
if you are soft you're lost....

was made into the undesireable and attacked personality.
as his duality was attacked and made a mockery of.
plus, any cautionary tale based rapper, or rapper who offered a cultural aspect.
to go along with a possible street oriented message.

meaning a guy like g rap, was even negatively looked at, in general.
all because he symbolized the duality of the mecca of hiphop.
by being a technical marvel, and wordsmith.
so, the government attacked anything or anyone.
through and by any means, to demean any culturally associated artist.
who could offer clarity.

so a record like the edge of sanity,..
was not generally recognized by the new age rap fan, they narcissistically tampered with and created.
when, a record like that offered distinct content to help.

on top of the systematic attack of hiphop's mecca, NEW YORK.
into an utter wasteland of confusion.
at such an extreme point of no return.
using capitalism and personalities who have never operated in the culture's or the mecca's best interest as well.

It hurts me to admit that me and my friends were brainwashed growing up in the 90s.

Even if you are right about that shyt, technology is the one that made it possible without the middleman.

that is a myth as well.
the internet is not a main hub of commerce for a successful business.
which has been proven since the fall of the internet businesses in 1998.

I lived that,....
technology was kept from advancing music industry on purpose from their own profit gouging practices.
way past, the point of no return.
which is why they create conflict of interest deals, named 360.
as the general standard contract, and mode of operation.
no urban group has supremely profited from using the internet.

even solja boi,..was apart of a major label with mister coli park and dj unk's blockbuster wave predating his first hit.

keef is a teenager, and a rich teenager at that. Ross and Hov are grown men. Ofcourse their rhymes are gonna reflect their mental mindstate.
I can not even give credence to that...

as jay, ross and hov are directly responsible for the degradation of skill and culture.
where a young person is not capable of rapping well at a young age.
when, jay directly comes from a pedigree of artist.
who were fully actualized in the full skillset, as emcee as teens.

those artist are:

jaz
kane

both of whom, were distinctly so far ahead of the curve skillwise as teens.
even nas,...
who influenced jay was a teen .

so age is not an excuse for unactualized skill in rap.
age has no bearing on your skill.

it is just like casual says:

YOU'RE WACK AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT.

age is not an excuse.
nor, will it be used to give you a pass for being wack, in this culture.

I blame the fact that older artists never wanted to embrace the internet and soften the blow of the impact. Chuck D was using the internet back, again, in 98 and wanted to operate/ function it easily so that the day when downloading songs came, he can profit off of it. But they cut him off from that shyt and, now, people who don't embrace it, suffer.

I was mostly referring to their content though. CHief Keef raps about the that stuff b/c he's a teenage street nikka who probably had little life experience outside of street nikka shyt Jay and ross are grown men with more life experiences so their rhymes and music might be more complex. (even though they have made their fair share of drug glorifying, embellished kingpin raps.)

but Wack is wack regardless of age.

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
Not Troy Ave himself, just people who acted like him that had a fabricated story about the hood, crime, selling shyt, etc., that was popular back then for all up and coming rappers. It wasn't until Kanye West and social media that changed everything up.
I mean now that we know he shouldnt be trying to still rely on those Mickey Mouse tricks... plus now that we know we shouldnt give him a pass because we used to out of ignorance

Neither one of them are major successes or household names tho

Kreayshawn was well known when she came out for her Gucci Gucci song. Lil Debbie is building a buzz right now. It doesn't matter how successful they were. All that matters is that they were out there making music and people knew about them. They were doing mad shows with a large turnout of people. The whole point of me saying that was that the original person I quoted acted like there were never any white female rappers. Even if it was small, they had success. Getting on in the rap game and having a following and being able to make money off of what you love doing is a major success to me. I'd rather be doing that than debating with a bunch of random people on the internet about someone else's success. The fukk y'all so worried about them? Go out and make an impact yourself. fukk sitting on the sidelines and watching the starters get all the fame and money, wishing I was out there on the court.

we agree,...
I wasn't attacking you.

although, they have the same inherent content.
it is just jay and rick ross.
all, have less experience with the type of intense street life that keef has.
yet, keef lacks the clarity they have.
jay and ross rap from a kingpin angle because their existence in the streets.
is nowhere near what a guy like keef has lived or seen.
so it is trumped up.
jay and ross have no responsibility.
if they were really engrained at the intense level that keef was in the streets.
it would be prevalent in both their music.
their talk is that of someone who did not fully endure the entire package that keef has.
both never endured navigating real structured government created and eventually paid gangs in their locale.
