the thing is back in the day street rappers could rap and genuinely loved to make music.

now these fukk boys just wanna rape the culture and put out shytty mixtapes every few months.

:birdman: "i represent the streets, my raps are all real life stories. nah i dont really write.. i just get in the booth and let the struggle talk for me."

nikka what? :what:

"i just cant get with these weirdo rappers, they take time to put out music, its like wheres ya hussle b? i put out at least 5 projects a year to feed the fans."

u wonder why they call u garbage :beli:

don't make good music and be confused by people not liking your raps brehs

It's street rappers that can rap and love 2 make music now. I don't know why y'all don't see the streets will never be the same, the streets aren't glorious like they use 2 be so street music is not gonna be either.

these guys want us to believe people would rather live in poverty than anything else. I cant speak for the cities other than philly, but if youre in the projects or eating oodles and noodles for dinner, youre a super minority. drugs will soon be legal, where will rappers like emcee dope pusher will get his tales?

Is this part of your posting schtick (average coli poster) in that your thoughts on this subject have been rehashed numerous times on here?

Always crying about about how rap is becoming more effeminate, you fakkits do more crying than the people you're criticizing for being emotional.

And I say this as a 33 year old upper to middle class Vietnamese man.

And Meek Millz sucks :umad:

I agree. meek millz is one of the WORST rappers out right now.

but everybody black is not middle class, so there will always be a market for street rap.

But is it being phased out on a larger level, yes. Otherwise, Rick Ross would be triple platinum right now.

They arent transplants, nor is anyone pushing them, it's a reflection of black americans progressing into burbs. Places like LA where bloods and crips are pretty much dead, places like south central are now 80% hispanics, old boroughs in NY now being hipster spots.
It's not seen on the news, nor talked about, but black folks ARE 'moving on up'. many now living in suburbs and now rapping about 'that' life.

See nothing wrong with it, we're not all from the slums despite popular belief.....yes some of us are college educated and don't gun clap. 90% of people reading this aint never busted a grape, let alone a gun at someone. :pachaha:
Even "the hood" is better nowadays. Nobody is really starving. People don't do dirt just to get by or survive, they do it to have some discretionary income.
