All of the above but can you say in all honesty that republicans would have approached these issues in a more effective manner.

No but I'm saying there is no reason to vote for democrats over those issues, in fact I'm not aware of any issue that is really that important that makes it important to keep the democrats in power

I think Obama has done a good job overall and I'm glad he got obamacare through but I think it's him dropping the ball on International issues and immigration that did the democrats in

Even his Ebola response has been horrible

Obama's stated #1 goal right now is to bypass congress and grant work permits to millions of foreigners, why would any American support that?

There are people looking for jobs, Isis cutting off Americans heads and raping little girls, Ebola and the #1 issue Obama is focused on is giving foreigners work permits??????

Yall confusing me. Are yall saying he needs to do a better job stopping immigration to lower Ebola, that has only infected health care workers so far. Out of 300mil people, how many people have caught Ebola in the united states :what: Maybe Im behind on current affairs. :what:

Republicans ignored aids, but they gonna stop ebola now? :mindblown:

The only reason why the health care workers got infected was becuase of incompetence by the hospital and the government basically allowing the hospital to do what it wanted and it turned out the hospital didnt know what the fuk it was doing

Then there is the issue of the government allowing Ebola infected people to run around like its nothing which ended up with cuomo and Christie looking more in charge than the president

Now I think there is a case to be made not to panic but it's THE IMPRESSION that the government couldnt handle the situation that was problematic

How many infected ebola cases have Cuomo and Big Chops uncovered with their lil quarantine camps? :comeon:

Pretty good actually for Hillary. Republicans didn't win Senate races in any blue state and they didn't improve with minorities :ehh:

2012electoralmapresultsfinal110812.jpg

What states are they gonna flip to reach 270 against Hillary? :mjlol:
Democrats start with at least 210 electoral votes guaranteed (no need to even campaign in those states). Republican states bring tiny electoral college votes (their only big state is Texas).
Remember, Obama still would've won without Ohio, Florida and Virginia!
Plus, Hillary will perform way better than Obama with white voters (especially white women).

Republicans have a clear disadvantage in presidential elections now. Mitt Romney won the deep South by comical margins with white voters and it didn't matter one bit. He won the white vote by the same margin as Ronald Reagan in 1980 but still lost.
In the past, democrats always tried to moderate their stances to appeal to those voters. Obama proved that democrats can now win the presidency and not care about the South.
The GOP's southern strategy has ended at the presidential level, after 40 years of dominance.

Which is why, though pessimism is great for objective discussion, dems need to press the issue that apathy is not the answer.

that isnt the point, the point is the impression, the impression was that the governors were in charge and that ebola was spreading

i think in the end ebola is not going to spread and everything will be fine, but its the impression that screwed obama, instead of being front and center he let bureaucrats and governors handle it and be the face of the situation

:sas1: private sector is always right
:sas2: don't blame the government for the failures of the private sector

The only people that have that impression have a poor understanding of science and a biased view on government control

why are we blaming Obama for the handling of ebola and not the 50 individual states :mjpls:

who is texas' governor and where was his ebola plan :mjpls:

y'all do realize each individual state has it's own health department right :mjpls:

not everything requires the guidance of the CDC :mjpls:

so let me get this right, when Obama reacts he's too slow, when the governors counteract Obama's reaction they look in charge :mjpls:

shhhh y'all seem to forget the fact that we have a generation walking around that ignored aids, voted for Vietnam, called blacks ******s, voted for mandatory minimums and criminalized marijuana yet gets to walk around in the general public like its sunshine all the time.

Get back in the exotic bishes thread :camby:

I had forgot how annoying your political views are :noah:

@theworldismine13 u sound like like a fox news pundit. Outmaneuvered by Putin. Why do people think somebody is gonna tell Vlad what to do. Obeezy has weakened their economy, Russian billionaires are feelin a lil tight, and Vlad still aint feeling no pressure. No republican is gonna "Outmaneuver" Putin. :stopitslime:

Now, Obama does need to fall back on that Amnesty bullsh1t.

What issues will Republicanshandle better?

When is Barry's pressee? If hhe's actin like a shook bish, Im done. I need to see some fight

well the problem for obama with russia is that there is a tape of romney predicting that russia was going to try and expand and obama dismissing it

and there is a tape of obama saying isis was junior varsity and dismissing it
so in both cases its one tape that obama dropped the ball

i would agree that i sound like fox, but my thing is obama never counteracted those argument that he dropped the ball, you cant ignore the fact that Isis is still running around doing whatever the fuk it wants and so is russia, those two 2 things trump the economy because it means americans arent safe

It's hard for a lot of people that would vote left to even be able to get off work to go vote in presidential elections, forget midterms.

You can mail in your vote

You can vote early

the problem is that we spend so much time talking about bullshyt for 365 days a year, then the day of election everyone is all like: omg I forgot to register, omg I don't know my polling location, omg I don't know the candidates, omg I can't get time off, omg omg omg
