At the state-level it was even worse in general for Dems. Even Dem incumbents in certain parts here squeaked by.

The next two years wil be interesting to watch. Will the Dems in Congress be as obstructive as the Republicans were the last six years or will they fold like envelopes? My bet is on the latter.

Even in all these news ads, flyers, etc leading up to these midterms, all I saw with Repub ads here in GA and the Atlanta ads were white people. Look at the Repub Convention, 99% white people. You see what's going on with these racist undertones (well shyt, it's really blatant as fukk now) with the Rethugs.

You got a mufukka who was lying left and right here in GA in Sonny Perdue according to the political fact checking done by the AJC newspaper and he still won easily. shyt is incredible. These middle and lower class white who continue to vote against their own interest just to spite minorities and the president disgust me.

Obama aint super nikka but just like everywhere else, when nikkaz get in power or have a high ranking position, everyone (including our own) expect 10x more of him than their white counterpart. He probably can't wait until these last 2 years are over.

i honestly believe the gop wins were made possible by the racial vitriol and trolling by the extremist right over the past few years. really motivated their base to get out and vote against the bogey man aka "obama policies". this was as much about the trayvon and mike brown incidents as anything else imo.

I thought the Dems ran a decent campaign with Carter and Nunn, but they ran trash campaigns on every other state wide office I don't think I saw an ad for any of the other state offices at all
