The road less traveled.
Alright, so this is how I'd rate the tracks across both albums

TOP TIER: Stir Fry, Made Men, T-Shirt, Call Casting, Get Right Witcha, Slippery, Out Yo Way
VERY GOOD: Supastars, Narcos, BBO, CC, Gang Gang, White Sand, Open it Up, MotorSport, Movin' Too Fast, Too Playa, Bad & Boujee, Deadz, Kelly Price
GOOD: Higher We Go, Walk It Talk It, Emoji a Chain, Too Much Jewelry, Crown the Kings, Work Hard, Notice Me, Culture, Big on Big, What the Price, All Ass
MEDIOCRE: Autopilot, Flooded, Brown Paper Bag
POOR: Beast, Top Down on da NAWF
TRASH: Culture National Anthem

Obviously my opinion @Charlie Broadway but this is how I feel.

Culture doesn't have poor/trash level stuff. Don't get me wrong though, neither does Culture II for the most part. But Culture has more top tier stuff as well on a significantly shorter track list that was better sequenced and had more production variety.

Culture II is still a very good album imo, and the more music the merrier in that regard. A lot of shyt I'll be bumping year round. What's your take?

All of your top tier tracks are pop singles that make Europeans feel comfortable.:umad:

Motorsport is very good? :beli:

Your list is also a bit bias as you clearly don’t like slower tempo Migos tracks.:rudy:

Can you explain what this means?
:jbhmm:

Also, it's my list. It's subjective. I like slower tempo tracks as well, so what u mean bias?...Notice Me, Kelly Price etc. all range from good to very good.

It's been about a week or so....some of y'all probably heard it multiple times already. How does it compare to Culture? Has Culture 2 grown on you?

@Ziggiy @JordanWearinThe45 @MillionMills @Ronnie Lott and everyone else ITT.
It’s better than the first one to me. This shyt is a modern day classic double disk. Like I split it into two albums and first half like everyday I’d find a new track to repeat. First half has all the slappers. The first 5 songs are elite, great way to start the album. Intro is infectious, u guaranteed to walk around repeating that chorus. Supastars is fukkin fire, adlibs are dope af lmao. Narcos a vibe, auto pilot...:wow:

Then the second half... :banderas: Fire, but when it gets to Notice Me and the vibe starts to mellow out/turn down for the next 4 songs is :wow: great sequencing to close out the album. Too Playa is... too playa :wow: the sax :wow: Made men a vibe, Top down then then the Outro a great way to end he album, kinda like how Future structures his shyt.

Real shyt the only other Double album that I fukk with so much songs this hard is AEOM Future/HNDRXX(was that packaged as a double in retail?) and maybe BP3, that shyt had a lot of straight garbage songs like that shyt with Sean Paul :why:

Thinking of it as a double album definitely changes my perspective on it, and while I'm not a huge fan of some of the sequencing, the end is very deliberate and well done imo.

Don't think it's on the level of AEOM or Wu-Tang Forever but it's a very good project. Still prefer Culture tho. Now THAT'S gonna be a classic imo.

This shyt is filler garbage like YRN 2. There is a reason why they flames out during there first run. Less is more. First culture was tight and cohesive. Now they are back to releasing bloated 20+ Track albums that are repetitive and annoying

YRN2 and other mixtapes can afford to have 20+ tracks. It's a mixtape after all. Some of their best work has come from mixtapes, especially in 2014 with No Label 2 and RNT2.

That said, I agree with you that when it comes to making an album, it needs to be more concise, cohesive and deliberate. This is the work your legacy will live off. Culture was perfect in that aspect. But here they could have cut Culture 2 to about the same track length (no more than 15), put their strongest shyt on there and maybe put more effort on it on the whole. Then the leftovers can be Culture 2 leftovers or fall onto some other mixtape.

Still think it was a very good album but coulda been so much more imo.
