He doesn't play defense so he basically doesn't play half of the actual game he's in give or take and he usually plays for fouls so you can take off another x amount of the actual game he really is playing in. :mindblown: how hard is he really working to need "rest" days like that?

:shaq: Carmelo to Houston? @Tha_Mac

:shaq::shaq:

Don't Melo & D'Antoni have beef? :patrice:

Just put him and Blake together

Capela
Griffin
Ariza
Beverly
Harden

Gordon
Lou will
Ryan Anderson
Nene

I would rather have DeAndre Jordan than Blake :myman: an elite rebounder and rim protector that isn't worried about the post is what the team needs. Capela showed some flashes in the Spurs series of being capable but he has to do it consistently over 82 games and the offs. You know what DJ is about already.

Nah fukk that, he can't shoot free throws. You see what we did to Roberson in the playoffs

Its funny

These and other players were talking all high and mighty and hamming it up for reporters talking bout they dont need to take games off

But reality will soon hit them that fatigue is a real thing.....energy is a finite resource

AND YOU WILL BE ULTIMATELY JUDGED FOR POSTSEASON RESULTS

not that random game you played on a back to back in February

save all of the faux populism about fans needs cause those motherfukkers will throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat.

I dont doubt fatigue played a factor. I absolutely do.

Even John Wall hasnt looked th same in this series against the Celtics vs how he looked vs the Hawks.

His jumper has looked flatter and the lift on his legs isnt quite there

I mean people shed all these tears over players taking nights off and "what about the father that spends this amount to take his kids to a game" and "action needs to be taken" and now no one is accepting any excuses for this dude. Dude has been getting killed the last couple days. Not one person has said, "Hey at least he didn't rest during the season. He cares about the fans, lets give him a break."

A lot of sports fans are like broads, they talk all this shyt about how they want athletes to be and when an athlete does that they either overlook them or shyt on them in favor of guys that they stay bytching about that they swear they can't stand.

bang on

Having reasonably fresh legs is necessary for deep postseason runs......

but motherfukkers swear they need to satisfy ignorant sports commentators about needing to meet the desires of a fan who spent tickets to watch a team on the road....yes it may suck as a fan but buying a ticket does not entitle you to having someone play.

Players who dont regularly make deep postseason runs should have little commentary on this because when they do start having sustained postseaon success that arrogance will come back to bite them

You gotta sacrifice somethings. DJ wouldn't be a problem in the locker room like Dwight tho becuz DJ ain't worried about post touches. He'll screen for the ball handlers and finish at the rim with authority and he'll protect the rim and rebound at an elite level. He's perfect for this system. In a perfect world the Rockets would get DJ and keep Capela for the back up center position but I'm sure if a trade was to go down Capela would most likely have to be involved.
