Yeah, that was some hoe shyt. Linsanity was one of the best stories in NBA history & he single-handedly ruined it with his jealousy.

No the Miami Heat ended Linsanity. Let's not forget that Lin also tried to snake the Knicks with that Rockets deal.

Mike D'Antoni hasn't won sh*t with that bs offense

Yet he's still in the league as an effective role player. :mjlol:

He would be out of the league if he was so bad. He had an amazing run that wasn't obviously not sustainable, but y'all didn't even try developing him and just threw him in the bushes instead so Melo could keep on being Melo. How did that work out for y'all?
He was a crucial piece on a Playoff team last season & he made the Nets look like an NBA caliber team after his return.

I'm not saying he's a Superstar or anything but he'd be the 2nd best player on the Knicks if he was still there.

:what: We threw him to the bushes ? Na that muthafukka left on his own. Rightfully so he got offered a bigger contract so why wouldn't he give us the deuces but don't act like we forgot about him.

Let's not act like he bounced around to like 3 other teams after he left us and after he found his "niche" in Charlotte they threw him to the bushes. Charlotte wasn't even all that with him.

Brooklyn was in last place nuff said.

Let me give you revisionist history nikkas and cacs a real history lesson on that snake ass cac D'Antoni time in NY

It started with Marbury.

D'Antoni never liked Marbury going back to Phoenix even when they made the playoffs but the Knicks couldn't get rid of Marbury without cause. D'Antoni set Marbury up by not playing him. When asked by reporters why a healthy Marbury was DNP "Coaches decision". It got so out of hand that on the bottom of every Frank Isola article in the Daily News was a stat called "Money For Nothing" how much was Marbury's salary for the games he was DNP and total salary for games DNP.

D'Antoni would finally play Marbury, Marbury would help the Knicks win a game then sit again. D'Antoni went to Marbury again but this time Marbury told him if he's only playing if he plays every game from here on out, D'Antoni and Donnie Walsh used that as insubordination and got rid of Marbury.

When asked about D'Antoni Marbury replied "I wouldn't trust that man to watch my kids"

Let's move onto Nate Robinson

It's a known fact Nate is streaky but he was a fan favorite but not a favorite of D'Antoni. D'Antoni would do it again, he would DNP Nate for 18 straight games.

It got so bad at The Garden fans where chanting "WE WANT NATE" I was there for 2 of those games. Knicks out of playoff contention they held the 7th seed when the DNP started where down 20 in the second half, D'Antoni puts Robinson in the game. Nate tears it up scoring 40+ leading the Knicks to a comeback victory in overtime.

Unlike Marbury Robinson would not buck and just rode out the rest of the season.

Let's look at the players D'Antoni and Walsh would get rid of because they "didn't fit his system" but would go on and contribute to other teams and have deep playoff runs.

Z Bo
Channing Frye
Trevor Ariza
Nate Robinson
David Lee

Lee finess the Knicks for a max contract and a trade to Golden State and he has a ring now

Miss me with the Melo hate and understand who's the source in this.

Stop making shyt up Lin never cameback and said he was 85 percent when the knicks needed a pg during the playoffs.

D'antoni quit and then the knicks went 18 - 5 after that.

Also in the 4th quarter of tight games Woodson was not only drawing up defensive plays but offensive as well While D'Antoni stood to the side he shut down that 7 seconds or less bullshyt
