In 2 years the Dubs will move to a new arena in SF so they'll be spending even more by then to justify it

They will lose 2 of the 4 stars so they wont be the same team...We dont know who they will attract at that time,a good bet is nobody equal to what they have since most stars have huge incentives to re sign, but we do know they will for sure lose 1 and most likely 2 (Curry,Klay)

I would argue the Warriors dont really need to justify it moving into a new arena in SF,they will at that point have been in 5 straight finals and won probably 2 or 3 of them.Theyll be eating off that for the next 5-6 seasons regardless if they even are a contender by the time they move...

What?!

It would have more good teams playing, exciting competitive basketball instead of gettin lopsided snooze fests like Golden State vs. Brooklyn Nets type filler

The fukk are getting this shyt from? Choose 5 teams to contract and place the "top guys" on the remaining teams, tell me which team will have more talent than GS and CLE. The 80's had fewer teams. Lakers, Celtics, Sixers, Pistons, Rockets.

Is Jordan's reign the product of over expansion?

I dont believe Klay will take less to stay and i think hes the likeliest to go, despite rumors Curry will take less,i still believe he wants to be paid a max,No 2 time MVP wants to take less twice in the prime of his career after winning ships....

Make the lottery odds the same for all non-playoff teams. Broadcast the actual lottery process live.

People gotta realize the Warriors rise as a powerhouse is a fluke, nobody knew when they underpaid Curry he was going to become a star, nor did they know Dray was going to become a star...The fact they were able to lock in Curry well below market value before he became a star allowed them to max Durant.

In 2 years Warriors will be broken up and the West will go back to being competitive again...

I agree with the first part

As for the 2nd part, nah. Curry will get a huge contract this offseason, Durant has already said he's gonna sign an extension, Draymond has 3 years left on his deal. Klay is the only one who can leave in 2 years and I don't really see why he would. Warriors will still be elite, they'll be able to give him a huge contract, and it's not like his game is suffering with the arrival of KD, he put up career highs. Only way I see him leaving is if something goes down in the locker room, because for basketball reasons he's in a great spot.

Everyone thought the Heat were going to keep going for 5 years after 2013 but all it took was 1 finals loss to break it up.

I mean...if you think in two years Durant & Curry will be looking as :flabbynsick: as Wade & Bosh did in the 2014 Finals then I guess...

But they also had older players like Bosh and Wade this groups younger

And the Warriors have 4 guys not 3 so they could lose a star and still be huge favorites

dudes still bringing up the NFL when it nets double the money with a fraction of the games :mjlol:

the NBA needs some of these young stars to rise up soon, and some will, its just boring rn. hopefully the next group of stars isnt on this superteam shyt and it gets back to being a little more balanced

as far as crisis mode? hardly

It's an actual fact the NBA is growing every year. The finals will more than likely be the highest rated ever.

The NFL is losing popularity and went so far to blame Colin Kaepernick for why the ratings went down :mjlol: how about it's just a poor product?

NFL is paying espn to force football on the people YEAR ROUND and it's still losing viewers.
:gucci: Where do you get yall NBA stans and NFL detractors get your facts from? Goodell went out personally and emphasized he didn't think the protest were the reasons for the league decline. He blamed the elections, which they probably were right considering the Y/Y numbers were only down 1% after the election. And the Super Bowl even down y/y is still one of the most watched events in the USA.
There is a reason the NFL revenue is more than twice as high than the NBA revenue

  • Make the regular season 62 games
  • Make the playoffs best of 3

Adds weight and significance to the regular season.

Makes the playoffs more exciting and gives more teams a chance to win.

NBA would be the most exciting league hands down.
