I don’t know how, but they have to move on from Trout. No idea who would take that contract, though. You’re not winning with him, and he can’t stay on the field. What’s the point of holding on to him?

The return you'd get trading him (which would be minimal consider his contract and injury history) wouldn't equate to torching the last shred of goodwill Angels fans have toward the organization.

Trout is still a game changing player when he's healthy. And he's the cornerstone for the franchise. Angels still have to sell tickets and give fans a reason to care.

Angels should've traded him right after Ohtani walked. And of course should've traded Ohtani and gotten a haul for him. They seem to be a mess right now. Dodgers & Lakers are downtown. Clipps, Rams, and Chargers are in Inglewood in new digs. All these teams play in the central heart of the metro, shining in their own right, and increasing their brands while the Angels are still deep down in the catacombs of Orange County with no leadership nor future plans to speak of. Arte Moreno needs to sell the team asap!

Trout loves Orange County, plus there’s something about having a HoF’er start and finish his career w/ one team.

Y'all trying to bring that NBA ring culture bullshyt to MLB every time Trout gets mentioned.
Usually I would agree but who's fault is that? He always hurt and he's never won anything. Even Mookie has 2 WS rings.

You think Trout is trying to get hurt?
Is it Trout's fault that Ohtani left and Rendon sucks and the GM can't get any strong pitching?

Aaron Judge is the same age and hasn't won shyt either.

He ain't getting this heat.
