Long Live The Kane

You make decent points...But the bottom line is you weren't there and I wasn't there..Mike was and still is...
What he has to say logically holds more weight than the rest of us...
What is his agenda? He's always been a brutally honest and transparent guy..And humble almost to a fault...You think he's really concerned about making his era seem more gully? He's Mike fukkin Tyson.. He doesn't need to do that...
You from the outside looking in telling him his experiences are false seems silly...
Outside of him being a famous boxer that knew a couple of rappers back in the day...what makes Mike Tyson some unimpeachable singular voice of importance and authority on the early 90's rap game, that his casual recollection of it should be taken as unquestioned gospel?

Mike Tyson is not the first person in the world to have spoken on the rap game back then vis a vis rappers as "tough guys" and "gangstas"...I've heard quite a few first hand accounts on the matter from drug dealers and gangstas from that era to rappers themselves to just people who've long been documenting the game...and "most rappers were certified tough guys and killers" is a minority sentiment at best...and that's not even considering my own common sense take on the matter
