Lex doesn't seem to have Mike Will's grind though. It might be because of a fukked up contract situation, or it could be because he's lazy, but outside of making Juicy hot again (Rubbaband Business 1&2), and dropping a couple tapes with no name nikkas, he hasn't really been "out there" in the mainstream eye. It could easily be internal problems, but on the outside looking in he just hasn't done enough.


I will say this though, Lex is one of the biggest influences on this new trap sound. Yea, he bit his style from Shawty Redd, but he didn't have a hit like BMF, and gave countless clones sample his style of 808s.
