I hope this doesn’t come out like a five year old question :snoop:

but I have always thought about this.

How does the military select who is gonna join the elite special ops?

shyt like Team 6, Delta Force, etc.

I bet to get into any of this you gotta be A1 and the application rejection must be high.

In the Army the PT score, most notably run times are high indicators of selection to Special Forces. That means having a 300 plus score. Being Airborne also helps. Also having a high testing score as well. So the combination of all three Means you can apply FOR SF basic training but it doesn’t mean you’ll get selected. They screen for the best.

You try out ( selection) and if you pass that you go to whatever school. They literally recruit like colleges and will email your goverment email constantly if you meet prerequisites.

EDIT: Oh you talking about the elite of the elite. You would go ranger or special forces( using the aforementioned process) before that and then apply.

Like anything else they have tryouts, once you get selected you go through their school of choice, if you pass your in.
