Was thinking about seeing this over the weekend but idk I just don't have the urge anymore. Not really wanting to spend 3 hours in a movie theater. If the coli reviews are trustworthy I may just say fukk it and go.

It was great. they made up for the last one.
Even though it was still about the AI, it didn't bog down the plot like the first one did IMO.
The supporting cast is amazing. Outside of the core MIF, there still like a dozen recognizable faces from young to old filling out the cast and almost all of them get a moment.
I like what they did with Ving, killing him off and making him pivotal to beating the AI. He was barely in the last one and couldn't move much. I wonder if there is really something going on and they just wrote it into the plot like they did with Val Kilmer in Top Gun Maverick.

Man that underwater scene was incredible.
I liked that they didn’t cut back to Grace getting to the spot. It was like a whole 15-20 minutes with no dialogue other than when he said “torpedo tube”. Even though Tom obviously wasn’t going n to die it was still real intense with the sub rolling and the torpedo blocking the hatch. I wish at the end when they cut to Milkshake’s sub that female diver would have said something about him not bringing back her suit lol

As messy as this was at the start, this was WELL worth the time and the epitome of why I go to the movies. They went OD on the flashbacks for a solid min, but I’d still place it over Dead Reckoning. Easily.

The submarine and plane sequences, two of the most nerve-wracking moments that I could not take my eyes off of at the same time. They may lose some money here but it was absolutely worth it. There were legit times where I feared for Tom’s life. There will NEVER be another action star like Cruise.

Wind speeds so high his hair was looking like Mark Davis’. :mjlol:

Luther got a really good send off here and I wanted that for Ferguson in the last joint. I’m still a little lost as to why she’s not in Atwell’s place here and that’s no disrespect to Hayley.

When he started cutting his suit off to fit in the tube:damn: :mindblown:

Good luck to the new Bond producers because there’s no topping that sequence. Ethan put his entire foot down and more in this.:hubie:

Tom Cruise solidified himself as the GOAT Hollywood star. The stunts were phenomenal.

The movie was straight up suspenseful and foreboding.

Everyone bodied their roles. I love the callback to one of the OG missions. That was amazing writing.

5 stars. This was the best one to me.

That's like saying Brady solidified himself as the GOAT QB after ring 7, Cruise's status was cemented years ago.

Good to see everyone is liking it. The last one was entertaining but the plot was stupid.

Only thing keeping me from going is that runtime
