This would’ve been a top 3 MI film for me if it wasn’t for that first hour. It goes on a generational run once it gathers its footing.

Some of the callbacks were cool and then there were others that just weren’t necessary. Felt very “previously on…”. Folks watching the eighth installment have more than likely already watched the other flicks to not require such recaps. Trim that fat off and you probably get a more accessible runtime out of it.

EASILY the worst MI flick after 2.

It doesn't even properly follow on from the previous entry.

The action is just recycled from earlier movies.

The franchise peaked with Fallout and it should have ended there.

It’s become everything the F&F franchise gets CLOWNED for.

And they are CLEARLY going to make more of these :comeon:

Funny because I picked an end seat and I’ll be damned if people didn’t keep walking past me to go to the bathroom or whatever.
Lol i saw this movie earlier in Imax and yes people were walking up and down them steep steps once the half way point of the movie arrived. I was on the edge seat as well.

I thought this was really good. Great callbacks and use of the history to create a crazy final climax film. I think the tension was off the chain in ways I haven’t experienced in the franchise before but I also think it was almost edging on the line of too much tension for too long in multiple scenes. Maybe I’m just sensitive but it felt like they were dragging out the tension in some parts which actually had the opposite effect. However I think one of the best and craziest missions out of the entire series takes place in this movie. Also one of the funniest and most surprising ends to a character. I can’t wait to see what people think of it. I love they chose Bassett for Madame President and I don’t think it was an arbitrary thing. MAGA is gonna hate how diverse and equity minded this movie is. It’s good storytelling and has a good message. 8/10 for me. Maybe my 3rd favorite MI film.

It's always cool seeing the different seat icons Fandango has for different movies

Tom Cruise solidified himself as the GOAT Hollywood star. The stunts were phenomenal.

The movie was straight up suspenseful and foreboding.

Everyone bodied their roles. I love the callback to one of the OG missions. That was amazing writing.

5 stars. This was the best one to me.
Hol up you saying this was even better than 6? I felt like that was the top tier cinematic popcorn experience

I enjoyed the suspense and real world application of this. This shyt is actually viable to happen, we see misinformation daily now.

I loved it
