I forgot who exactly it was but I remember Jamie Foxx interviewing someone on the Foxxhole about what it was like working with Michael Jackson. If I'm not totally tripping I believe it was Teddy Riley.

But regardless, whoever it was said that Mike was a motherfukker to work with. Come in there expecting sweet and soft spoken Michael but when in work mode Mike didn't play that shyt:birdman:

He was the ultimate perfectionist and would dress you down in front of everyone for wasting his time:mjcry:

Have your shyt together.

The person (and I'm pretty sure it was Teddy) basically said it was memorable working with him but not very fun or enjoyable, at least in the normal sense of the word.

Can't grow up like Michael did and not carry that "rehearsal is serious" attitude.

Prince wrote in his autobiography that him and mike are alike in that they were both alphas when it came to creating.

" Several of the rockers reportedly threatened to walk out to protest the many 'uncool' pop stars on the record. The walkout fizzled out after Bruce Springsteen said, 'I don't care who is here to record this track, I'm here to help save lives."

:ohhh:

Not sure how they made it work, but they did.

Too many different vocal styles

Don't have a link.

Here's the excerpt personally typed out from page 112

"I am my father. I am the leader of the band. It's an alpha thing. When you get two alphas together, like me and Lenny Kravitz, who can also play all the instruments, I dont have to say, hey we should do it this way. It'll be like he plays drums, I play bass, I play drums and then we both play guitar and in twenty minutes we have a track. Michael [jackson] was an alpha. He wasn't the oldest brother, but they all listened to him. And when he went solo...[imitates an explosion] same with Beyonce. People attack her for the way she talks to her band, but she knows what she wants. She's creating."
