That lane is getting smaller and smaller. Baseball ain't meant to be niche. They have to make changes. Nobody showing up to any games til October ain't good for business

That's only because baseball has seen a decline in popularity. Just cause basketball is #2 now don't mean it's more popular than it was in the past. It could just mean that nobody likes baseball anymore.
Anyway we have objective evidence that shows the NBA isn't more popular right now. Go and look up the Finals ratings in 1997 and 1998. They blew anything we've seen right now in the NBA outta the water.
Stolen bases aren't coming back; they're going to disappear more going forward even with some minor tinkering.
They're one of the casualties of analytics -- IIRC, a team needs to steal at almost a 80% clip in order to override the risk of making an out.

As a thought excercise I'm trying to figure out whether I'd rather be locked in a room with no phone or any other form of diversionary stimuli, given a drug that prevents sleep, strapped to a chair and forced to watch either a MLB or WNBA triple header
Thinking I'd prefer to watch the lesbos hoop mayne ...some of them are attractive, they'd play some hip hop as arena music, and there's halftime shows
