Yeah the thread was made because the Mets released a statement that Ces was "missing". If they were truly told last night he was opting out then its another in a long line of disgraceful moves by the front office. Tough to side with them and trust them given their history

The timeline of events says he informed the team he was opting out last night.

IF that's true, the organization purposely made a mess of the situation by releasing that statement.

Brodie just said in the post game press conference is that they didn't hear he was opting out until during the game today from his agent. He had no indication of him opting out prior. That would pretty dumb thing to say if there is evidence to the contrary. A lot of people including Mets fans owe the organization an apology.

That's his side of things. I'll wait to hear more about it and no I don't owe them anything. The only conclusion I jumped to was thinking something bad might have happened to Ces.

They sent security to the hotel and all his shyt was gone so I think they were comfortable airing him out before finding out his exact whereabouts. If he befell to an accident the stuff would still be in his room.
