Nah , music is again subjective.y’all like the shyt I don’t :yeshrug:

You make it sound like a consensus like we’re all supposed to like The same thing cuz everyone else says so.I didn’t like none of this shyt in 1996 & still don’t

breh we get it, if thats how you feel thats how you feel

why would you insist on this to the point of derailing the thread ?!

Kanye is garbage overall, dude is a bad rapper and always has been, his whole career

You are way out of pocket simultaneously trying to say that everything is subjective and then in the same breath calling anyone who disagrees with your opinion sheep

Please stop

Edit: for instance I think aquemini wakk af but everyone calls that trash a classic when atliens outkast best album. We like different shyt ,y’all follow the consensus
I like Aquemeni a lot but agree that ATLiens is their best album.

I'm also here to support anyone with the "Murda Muzik is a classic" movement.

Alc just said there a Alc version of the album:damn:

that’s kind of fire but also could be like a who’s better version thar can get a little wicked unless hav and alch are confident with both versions and don’t care…. Fire ass idea though, hope mass appeal can drip both. Maybe drop the alch version as a deluxe

This the part that's getting me. Both things can't be true. If it's all just subjective and everyone's opinion is valid, then cool. People wouldn't be flaming if you just let it sit there. But at the same time to say we're all brainwashed sheep and stupid for thinking Hell on Earth is classic?

It's like, which is it? Is it subjective, or all we all stupid for liking Hell on Earth?

BTW within the Mobb Deep stanbase, Hell on Earth is almost unanimously considered the 2nd best album they've done. Some have it at #1. Most don't, and have it at #2. And Murda Muzik is the overall #3. After that, the rankings vary a lot depending on peoples' tastes, and whether or not solo albums are allowed to be put into the list.

Amerikka's Nightmare and Free Agents are usually (not always) in the #4 slot from what I've seen over the years, followed by Infamy, and then often Blood Money. People really should rank their 2014 album (TIMD) higher too, IMO. It was very underrated and time has been even better to it. Same with the Black Cocaine EP from 2011.

For whatever it's worth brehs, I read the tweet, and I kind of feel like ALC Version in this case just means like "ALC Edition" that they'll sell on his website, probably with a couple of bonus tracks, and not actually a version of the album with only his production. Most of the "ALC Versions" of his projects in the past 5 years have had 2-4 bonus tracks and alternate cover art.

Still fire, though.

If you didn't say the last sentence in bold, people wouldn't keep talking about this shyt. But you are low key insulting people that have good logic and opinions for liking what they like, and are'nt just being sheep about it. Are we agreeing to disagree, or are we being sheep?

You make all these good ass points and then say some passive aggresive insulting shyt meant to imply that we are stupid and can't think for ourselves.

I like so many of your posts on this board over the years and respect you, but it's feeling like you're talking shyt at this point.

BTW most Kanye fans don't have Dropout as his #1 album. Most people do think it's a classic, but most people don't have it at #1. I feel like most of the polls and videos and podcasts I've seen over the years re: his catalogue have Late Registration or Dark Fantasy as his #1, which is what you have as well. Graduation and Dropout are usually below those other 2 on most lists.

I hope not.

This is the final Mobb Deep album. Lets make it the actual FINAL Mobb Deep album with Havoc doing the majority of the production and let it rest.
It's not what it sounds like. He sells ALC Editions of a ton of projects that aren't any different, but just have bonus tracks and alternate cover art. It just means that it's a Deluxe Edition. Extra music for fans, and more bread for P's family. It'll probably drop in another 6-12 months on alcrecords.com. That's almost a given for every project he's involved in the past 5 years.

It would be so incongruent and would fly in the face of everything he's said about wanting Hav to do most of the beats and have this project to be about P and Hav's legacy more so than his own. For him to later put out a version and be like "yeah, but here it is with all MY beats" would be super weird and totally out of character.

I hear you , i ain’t trolling or trying to insult nobody

I fukk with mobb deep always have ,like I said I was In high school when the infamous(along with several other classics) dropped that was my mutha fukkin joint. ‘95 was a dope year for hip hop ob4cl,the infamous and showbiz & ag ,e40,bone ,junior mafia ,liquid swords etc etc

Just didn’t like hell on earth the same , that’s all I’m saying :manny:

And the consensus(not this forum just in general)made it sound like college dropout was looked at as Kanye best album when it’s not but we agree

I agree that beat isn't anything special.

I wasn't a big fan of the production of HOE. The beats are just too similar from song to song.
The PRODUCTION was some of their best and darkest on that album, that album is FIRE........ Hav did his thing on that one and it was another Mobb Classic. Drop A Gem and Hell On Earth are two of Havs best beats IMO.
