One producer LPs never went away or came back, personally I don't see it as a trend. In reality it's just what you're paying attention to.

Other than that the Muggs albums definitely did make noise (and were dope), The Blu & Exile LP was big in the underground as was Madvillainy
That is why I didn’t bother responding to such ridiculous statement from the poster saying that nobody paying attention to those albums when they were released. You had to be there and peeping the underground.

i kinda wanna shed a few tears... f*ckin havoc and alchemist did it brehs, they actually put out a project that's worth listening for years to come. I've said this sh when it comes to older rappers dropping projects this far in their career, STICK TO THE PRODUCER and SOUND that your fans fell in love with from the rip, that's the only thing that's been my problem with Rae and Ghost, deviating from having RZA produce on any of their latest projects. It's the reason why Clipse we're successful with their latest drop. STICK WITH YA DAY 1 PRODUCER THAT GOT YOU THERE!
Snoop is the only one this didn't work for:beli:

nikka I was around and that’s how I know. The nikkas I’m naming made the MAINSTREAM even pay attention and created movements behind it. I’m not speaking on who did it first like I said I was around shyt I was a DJ still then. And that’s when I was really running around as an artist myself.

Straight fire :wow: this how to make a posthumous album and make it sound fresh. This is how a 2025 Mobb Deep album would've sound if P was still with us :wow:. :salute: to Havoc, Alchemist, Nas, and Massappeal for giving us this gem.
