Maybe it’s my New York bias but this is better to me than the clipse album. this doesnt have a lost tapes or lost verses feeling at all. This is a true ass album….

This is no question a dope album. I had expectations for it & they were met.

With that said, it sounds kinda soulless to me. Ive deduced that it could be a lack quality samples or skits. Every Mobb or P album had some memorable trash talkin or rants or something. Album cover is pretty generic too.

Regardless of all that, this a solid album. Hav & ALC did exceptionally well for making a posthumous album.

P has one of the most unique rap styles in Hip Hop, certain verses you feel only he can come up with that, it’s not even mad complex lyrically a lot of the times, but it’s unique and poetic and dark/morbid while being light hearted and funny, he was a one of a kind.

"abracadabra i toss a cadaver" in the most deadpan voice made me laugh out loud

This album has made me realize that I miss hooks in the current landscape of street raps. Mobb has always had really catchy hooks, and even some of the simple little hooks on here go a long ways.

80% of the street rap lane these days is hookless. And I’d rather hear no hook than a bad hook, but some of these guys could put a little more effort in
