:salute: to Havoc and Alchemist for the time and care making sure this sounded like a real Mobb album. But of course it's Prodigy that really make it work.

If this Mass Appeal series highlighted one thing it's the uniqueness and charisma that was required to make noise in the era these dudes came up. A lot was said about the production on Rae and Ghost albums but they got so much more originality and personality than the modern rappers in this lane. Prodigy showing the same thing here, but sonically this album stuck with the vintage Mobb sound so even the dusty crew that hate on everything can't knock it :heh:

Listening to the Mobb Deep/Clipse track is making me fiend for a Clipse/Havoc produced project. Imagine the imagery, drug dealer tales, regrets and biblical bars over those dark ominous beats man. It would be a 5 mic classic. Alchemist can throw em some beats too. I wanna hear more from them.:whew:

The Bigger Picture interview was pretty dope! I would recommend. Very dope to hear Hav and Al talk about each others production

Man….. this album is incredible it’s like p actually still here and he just made this. :( Alchemist and havoc did right by the legacy, the production hits really hard & it’s cohesive :banderas: banger after banger, this is how you do posthumous album right. Havoc showing us y he’s one of the goats and why he never left. He can still do it, in a time where most of the goat producers fell off. I didn’t really like most of the small little eps he did with other rappers as of recent most of that stuff was throwaways this album is those real Mobb bangers. This proves when havoc locks in and he’s trying that these other producers can’t compare. Prodigy recorded so much dope shyt before he passed and they picked theright shyt, he killed that shyt, he’s rapping at a really high level and his vocal performance, flow & cadences are off the chain, mixed & mastered to perfection on beats that are the epitome of that grimy 90s dark winter shyt. P easily the most consistent rapper of all time. Mobbs catalogue/unreleased/p solo shyt (quality and quantity)>>>>>>>

When I heard The M. The O. The B. The B. I literally lost my shyt. Same with score points :blessed:honestly most of the album I felt like that:wow:

The singles sound better in the context of the album. Mobb deep against the world is dope af.

Right now my favorites are: Mobb against the world, The M. The O. The B. The B., score points, discontinued, my era

The only thing I thought was pointless was down for you pt 2.

4.5/5 and Aoty for me over the clipse album, I wanted to wait before I posted to let the album sink in. Shyt is beautiful and the perfect exit Mobb album. :salute:

Top 5 albums
1. Mobb deep infinite
2. Clipse let god sort em out
3. Alchemist Alfredo 2
4. Westside Gunn 12
5. Lloyd banks Aon 3

Edit: it’s possible that there will be more shyt to come possibly another Mobb album in years? Albert Einstein 2? Who knows how much dope shyts in the vault that we haven’t heard. I’m hopping we get more quality albums in the years to come.
